This year’s Week of Prayer was our biggest yet, and it was brilliant to see people from across Christ Church Manchester coming together to pray. From early mornings and the prayer room to lunchtime prayer and Breakthrough gatherings, there was a real sense of shared purpose.

We ended the week with our largest CCM Day ever, gathering all our sites together. Tim Simmonds shared vision for the future of Christ Church Manchester, reminding us that God is at work in local communities like ours as part of something much bigger.

🩷 1 Year of Denton! 🩷 Just like this tree, our Denton site has been growing strong this past year, roots going deeper in Jesus and branches reaching wider into the community.

In 12 months we’ve celebrated baptisms, seen youth and children’s groups flourish, even met the mayor and through it all, we’ve been praising God for what He’s doing in our congregation.

This Sunday at 10:30AM, we’re celebrating our 1st anniversary with a bring-and-share lunch afterwards. It’s the perfect chance to invite someone along, meet new friends, and thank God for all He’s growing in Denton.

We love this town soooo much. We love this community. We love what God is doing here. 💘

🎪 What a day at Denton Carnival! Our team were out and about with a coconut shy 🥥 and plenty of opportunities to chat with people from the community. It was amazing to see the carnival so well attended and to be visible, sharing the goodness of God in Denton.

We even got to meet the Mayor and Consort of Tameside, who said they’d love to join us for our 1st Birthday Celebration next Sunday 🎉🥳

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all – see you there! 🩷

A few weeks back our youth & church family spent the afternoon grafting hard at Linden Road Academy, where our site meets. 💪 The caretaker was blown away, apparently we got more done in a day than the professionals managed in weeks 🤯. It was hot work, but such a blessing to the school community. So proud of our wee church for rolling up their sleeves and making it happen! 🌞🙌
