Today, we officially welcomed Rev. Gilbert David, along with his wife Uzma, to be our new incumbent (Rector) at St. Mary's, Haughton Green.
The Bishop of Manchester, Rt. Rev. Dr. David Walker licensed Gilbert to minister in our wonderful community. Thank you to all who came to witness and welcome our new minister, especially our new member of parliament, Hannah Spencer. We look forward to seeing how God will lead us on into this new, exciting chapter in our 150th anniversary year.

Easter fun for the family @ SMHG

It was fantastic to tell the Easter story to 3 of our local primary schools this week. We used the story of "The Three Trees" to talk about God's plan for the world through Jesus and his plans for us....it also involved Mr. Bean and Taylor Swift! Thank you Corrie Primary, Russell Scott Primary and Manor Green Academy.

Today, 25th March, St Mary's Church celebrated 150 years of regular worship in our church building in Haughton Green. We had a weekend of celebrations. Here's a few pictures.
