Further for your diaries, on September 20th we will welcome Julie from KingsGate Community Church who will speak to us on the work of their community outreach project Care Zone which is a furniture recycling project focused on helping low income families in the city of Peterborough.

Our Mission Matters Group at the Priory Church have been able to give a donation and this is an opportunity to hear what our donation has contributed to. Our Mission Matters group raises money for Charities through holding events. They give to world disasters, national charities and local charities. This is a great opportunity to here more from where we donate to. 10am on Sunday 20th!

This Friday’s ‘baker of the week’ is The Café at Eventus located at Northfields Industrial Estate in Market Deeping. We are looking forward to sampling their homemade brownies 😋

So why not pop down to The Bell Tavern tomorrow between 11am - 1pm where you can have a cuppa, sample a brownie and receive a warm welcome and chat.

A quick snap from the weekend just gone of the most beautiful sky over the church! This was taken during the interval of Broadway Bao show the waiting room. A lovely evening had and we were blessed with a beautiful sky.

A look back on our Hog Roast event the week before last. We had a great time gathering, enjoying good food and good music. Our sincerest thanks to The Lazy Oyster Jazz Band for their wonderful playing and The Lincolnshire Smokehouse for their wonderful hog, stuffing, crackling and rolls.

Our Thanks to St Guthlacs Church and our friends at all of the local parish churches for visiting the priory last Thursday for the visitation service. As put so wonderfully below, it is a celebration of our churchwardens and all of their work for our churches. Special mention to our new churchwarden at the priory, Michael and also to Jan who continues her warden post for another year. 🎉

Rev George and our Churchwardens Roger and Nick, recently attended this year's Visitation Service at the Priory Church, Deeping St James. It's a special occasion that marks and celebrates the ministry of Churchwardens. It was a wonderful service, giving thanks for our churchwardens and other church volunteers who serve our churches and communities.
