Dartmouth Bell Ringers

Dartmouth Bell Ringers The collective name for bell ringers from St. Saviour’s, St. Petrox and St Clement's churches, Dartmouth. Everyone is welcome !

We are a bunch of fun-loving people of all ages who have got together to keep our arguably “Best peal of eight bells in Devon” ringing out loud throughout our beautiful town. We are a team of around twenty people, established for over fifteen years, who enjoy having fun in our tower. Although we do take our ringing seriously, we are also proud of our reputation that is given to us from visiting ri

ngers – “A Friendly Tower.”

As a bell ringing team we are involved in many local activities. The bells of St Saviour’s, St Petrox and St Clements churches mark many local and national events throughout the year. We keep the bells ringing so that you can come and join us as a learner or an experienced ringer and be part of local and national history. So, if you enjoy good ringing, good company and a relaxed and fun atmosphere, come and join us.

What Did The Bellringer See ?

Have you ever wondered what it looks like when you are behind the sally ringing a bell ?

Here is a different perspective to show what, as bell ringers, we see when we are ringing in with the team.

Again, a big thank you to our technical media whiz-kid, Stuart, who took this video at St Saviour's while wearing a pair of camera glasses.
