Ivan shared an awesome message on Sunday. Thank you Ivan.

We can only see light if the photons have collided with molecules, so we can say if there is no collision then light will go unseen.

Another way of saying this is, if there is nothing in place to reflect light then the light will remain invisible to the human eye.

The bible tells us “God is Light” (1 John 1:5), the bible also tells us that “God is Love” (1 John 4:8).

Light remains unseen unless it is reflected, Love remains unseen unless it is shown by action, this means both light and love can be present but remain unseen; to put it another way, God is present in us but can remain unseen by us, let’s not allow that to be our testimony.

Within our born again spirit we have the full nature of God, we are Love but many times (I speak for myself) this nature can go unseen because we have lost sight of Love in our souls (mind, will emotions). When our thinking is dominated by negativity, we stop the flow of Love.

Just like objects give invisible light the means to be seen, our thoughts give Gods Love the means to be seen, we will act in accordance with our most dominant thought. So, for the nature of God to be seen we must think on Godly things and harness negative emotions.

Let’s be disciplined in our thoughts and think on Gods word, think on Gods Love, in doing so we give Him a means to shine through us and be seen.

We’ve done it again for another year.

Each child is recieving a special advent calendar called the ‘the real….’ It contains the good news of the Christmas story (and of course chocolates). Each woman at the refuge is receiving a pair of slippers🩰 filled with goodies 💄plus a hamper full of Christmas treats and decorations and each child is receiving sweets, 🍫back to school items and toiletries. 🛁. We already have people asking for their service users to be included next year. We are aiming for 100 hampers. If you want to be involved in activities like this there may well be more coming in 2025. 💐🎁💝
