New Job Club course launching in Darnall to help people get back into work. Living Waters Christian Fellowship (LWCF) has teamed up with charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to run a free, local Job Club, supporting people who are trying to get back into work.
The Job Club officially opened its doors on Tuesday 16 September 2025 at LWCF, 81 Main Road, Darnall. It runs every Tuesday morning from 10am.
Who is it aimed at?
People who are unemployed or looking for a new role are welcome at the Job Club, which offers small group courses and one-to-one coaching.
“Laptops are set up, free breakfasts, tea and coffee are being prepared and a team of skilled staff and volunteers are ready to welcome members to the building,” says Brian Coleman, CAP Job Club Manager.
“Some people just need help revamping their CV; others need guidance on how to use a computer and make online applications. Some of our members are long-term unemployed and need somewhere safe, encouraging and committed to rebuild their confidence and motivation. We offer a friendly environment where they can do so, with the ultimate aim of getting them back into work.”
