šŸ½ļø THE SUBVERSIVE HOSPITALITY OF THE KINGDOM | WEEK 1: THE OPEN TABLE

What if the table of Jesus is more open than ours?

Jesus had a way of welcoming the people others overlooked, avoided, or considered unworthy. His table was not built around status, similarity, or social approval; it was a place where grace made room for everyone.

The invitation of the Kingdom is still open.
There is room at the table. The question is: will we make room too?

Tomorrow we’re coming to the end of our journey through the book of Ephesians, a book full of hope, identity, grace and the incredible reality of what it means to belong to Jesus.

Paul reminds us that we are ā€œmembers of the household of Godā€ (Ephesians 2:19) and that we are ā€œrooted and grounded in loveā€ (Ephesians 3:17).

Whatever your week has looked like, there’s a place for you here. Come as you are, bring a friend, grab a coffee, grab a donut, worship with us and join us as we finish our journey through Ephesians together.

Week 5| Kingdom Series | The Mystery of the Gospel Revealed

The walls have come down; but what is Jesus building in their place?

In Week 5 of our Kingdom Series at Darlington Vineyard Church, we continued from last week's message, The Reunion, by unpacking Ephesians 3. Paul reveals the mystery once hidden but now made known: through Christ, God is creating one new people - A family where every dividing wall has been torn down, and His wisdom is displayed through the Church.

The Gospel is far more than personal salvation; it is God's eternal plan to unite people in Christ. The Church is not simply a gathering of people with similar backgrounds or opinions, but a living demonstration of God's grace, where barriers of race, status, culture, and history are broken down.

In Jesus, we are no longer strangers but members of one household, reflecting the heart and Kingdom of God to the world.

And because of the cross, we don't stand on the outside looking in. We have boldness, access, and confidence to come before God through faith in Christ. The mystery has been revealed, the invitation has been given, and the Kingdom is still transforming lives today.

If you missed Sunday's message, this is one you won't want to miss. The walls have come down, come and discover what Jesus is building in their place. You can watch the full message on our YouTube channel.

Week 4 | Ephesians: The Great Reunion

The world builds walls. Jesus builds one new family.

In Ephesians 2:11–22, we see the incredible truth that through the cross, those who were far away have been brought near. Jesus didn’t just reconcile us to God, He also reconciled us to one another.

The Church is meant to be a glimpse of God’s coming Kingdom, a place where people from every background, generation, culture, and story become one in Christ.

This week, let’s live out the Gospel by building bridges instead of walls. Reach out to someone different from you, listen to their story, share a meal, and reflect the reconciling love of Jesus.

Because every act of reconciliation points to the King who has already made us one.

ā€œFor He Himself is our peaceā€¦ā€ — Ephesians 2:14

When life doesn't make sense, trust the One who never fails.

God is faithful. God is victorious. And in Christ, so are we. šŸ™Œ

What if the cross was never God's Plan B?

The cross wasn't a reaction to humanity's failure; it was always God's original plan. Before the foundations of the world, God had already made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ.

The kingdom is revealed through the cross. God's love, grace, and redemption have always been part of His perfect plan.
