Amen to this ……

As we come to the end of Volunteers' Week, we just want to say again a huge thank you to everyone who volunteers at Messy Church.

Whether you’re setting up, making tea, helping with activities, chatting with people, clearing away, or simply offering a warm welcome, you are so appreciated.

And to those who think of themselves as 'just a volunteer', there is no such thing! Every act of kindness, care, and encouragement helps create a place where people feel loved, welcomed, and part of a Christ-centred community.

Messy Church simply wouldn’t happen without you. Thank you for all you do.

Messy Church - Rise and Shine ✨ yesterday helped us explore together how goodbye is never the end . All those emotions 🖤 of sadness , doubt and fear are normal and felt by us regardless of age or time . The disciples , even though they had been prepared by Jesus for the time they would no longer see him , felt those emotions too . With the help of the spirit and love of family ,alongside the gift of memories - we never need to feel alone. Whether it be people or pets 🐾 we can settle knowing they are safe and loved too.
What a privilege Messy Church ⛪️ is 💕
See you again soon x

Messy Family Church was all about walking with courage this week as we looked at the journey of Holy Week , focusing on the varied emotions of the different days. It was a beautiful day to enjoy a walk in a special garden just as Jesus did , we shared food around the table , thought about the great love shown for us and remembered the courage of Jesus as he trusted in Father God . In our celebration we used pipe cleaners to show the many different forms love can take . Thanks everyone for coming along ….. and for all the preparations at home 🫶see you next time 💟💒💕
