⛪ Feast of St Ninian – Holy Eucharist ✝️

Join us at St Mary’s Church, Dalton on Wednesday 16th September at 10.00am as we celebrate the Feast of St Ninian with the Holy Eucharist.

St Ninian was an early Christian missionary who brought the Christian faith to parts of Scotland and northern England. His life reminds us of the call to share the light of Christ and to serve God wherever we are called.

Come and join us for this special celebration of the Eucharist, prayer and fellowship. Everyone is warmly welcome, whether you are a regular worshipper, visiting us for the first time, or simply looking for a quiet place to pray.

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Cross, remembering the cross of Christ and the great love, sacrifice and salvation revealed to us through Jesus.

We have a wonderful day of activities and worship at St Mary’s, and everyone is warmly welcome:

We have some lovely services and celebrations coming up this October, and everyone is warmly welcome to join us!

Blessing of Pets & Animals at St Peter’s Ireleth Churchyard, celebrating the Feast of St Francis. Bring along your pets, big or small, as we give thanks for the joy and companionship they bring us.

🌾 Sunday 4th October – Harvest Festival
⛪ 9.30am – Harvest Thanksgiving Eucharist at St Mary’s Dalton
⛪ 11.30am – Harvest Thanksgiving Eucharist at St Peter’s Ireleth
🍲 5.00pm – Harvest Celebration Supper at St Mary’s Centre, with bingo, card games, raffle, food and good company!

🙏 Everyone is warmly invited. Come and celebrate God’s wonderful creation and give thanks for the blessings of the harvest.
