Do you ever feel like you are constantly trying to keep up?

​It is exhausting carrying every responsibility while trying to pretend you have it all together. We so easily fall into the trap of measuring our worth by how well we perform.

​Scripture compares God’s Word to a mirror. It does not ask us to hide our struggles or put on a brave face. Instead, it shows us who we truly are in Christ: fully seen, fully known, and held by His grace.

​If you are weary and need a place to pause this Sunday, you are warmly invited to join us.

Not long now until Connected Youth Week!

​We are looking forward to a great three nights together at Killead Presbyterian Church Hall from Tuesday 11th to Thursday 13th August, running from 7.30pm to 9.30pm each evening.

​Here is what we have lined up:

​Tuesday 11th: Blast Off Challenge

​Wednesday 12th: Inflatable Night

​Thursday 13th: Pizza & Gameshow Night

​Anyone going into first year and up is very welcome to join us.

​Whether your family attends Loanends, Killead, or you live in the surrounding countryside, we want every parent to feel completely confident sending their children to 'The Greatest Show' next week.

​Safeguarding First: Leaders and volunteers from across our churches are fully vetted, trained, and dedicated to creating a safe, secure, and encouraging environment for your children.

​Hassle-Free Sign-Up: You can register your child quickly at the door on Tuesday morning as you arrive at Killead Church Halls, or drop us a message beforehand if you have any questions.

​All-Inclusive Fun: Whether your child comes with friends from school or on their own, our team will make sure they feel right at home from the moment they step through the door.

If your children haven't been to our Holiday Bible Club before, we would love to welcome them! Here is a taste of what we have packed into each morning:

​High-Energy Games: Getting moving and having fun together right from the start.

​Circus Crafts & Activities: Creative, hands-on fun for all ages.

​Music & Bible Stories: Engaging, memorable stories and songs tailored for primary school age.

​Snacks & Refreshments: Time to sit down, recharge, and chat with new friends.

​It promises to be a wonderful morning of community fun for children starting P1 to P7 (and preschoolers with an accompanying adult!).

How good and pleasant it is when people gather in unity.

​For almost fifty years, we have been blessed to be linked with Killead. As part of that connection, we have the joy of worshipping together throughout the summer months.

​Tomorrow, we will be meeting in Killead at 11:00 a.m., with a time of prayer beforehand at 10:30 a.m.

​Please do make the effort to come together—that we might be built up, and build one another up.

As the summer routines start to shift and families look ahead to the new school term, we’re looking forward to a few bright evenings together.

Our Connected Youth Week "Above & Beyond" kicks off in just a fortnight, running 11th–13th August at Killead Presbyterian Church Hall.

We’ve three busy nights planned—from inflatable challenges to pizza and games—for all young people from year eight upwards across the neighbourhood.

🎪 The countdown is on!

In just a couple of weeks, Holiday Bible Club will be taking over Killead Presbyterian Church Hall, and we can't wait!

Killead and Loanends Presbyterian Churches are looking forward to welcoming children for four mornings packed with fun as we discover "The Greatest Show"... the greatest story ever told.

📅 Tuesday 11th August to Friday 14th August
🕙 10.00am to 12 noon
📍 Killead Presbyterian Church Hall

There'll be Bible stories, games, crafts, singing, quizzes, prizes and plenty of fun.

👧 For children going into P1 to P7 this September.
👶 Preschool children are welcome too with an accompanying adult.

🚀 Connected Youth is going Above & Beyond this summer!

Over the past few months, we've loved seeing so many young people coming along to Connected Youth. It's been brilliant to spend time together, make new friends and explore what the Bible has to say.

This August, we're taking things Above & Beyond with a special week of Connected Youth events, and we'd love you to be part of it!
