🎻Food & Music Festival Performance Spotlight:
South London Sinfonia Quartet

We're delighted to welcome South London Sinfonia Quartet to our Food & Music Festival.

The quartet features:
• Jonathan Lovering – 1st Violin
• Catherine Lovering – 2nd Violin
• Penny Dispirito – Viola
• Phil Myers – Cello

All four musicians are members of the South London Sinfonia, which rehearses at St. Mildred's every Tuesday evening. Their performance promises an afternoon of beautiful chamber music from a group with deep roots in our local musical community.

The South London Sinfonia is looking ahead to a very special milestone, celebrating its centenary in 2027. For nearly 100 years, the orchestra has brought together enthusiastic amateur musicians of all abilities to make music together, and it has been rehearsing at St. Mildred's since 1965.

Upcoming South London Sinfonia Concert
Saturday 11 July, 7pm
St. Mildred's Church

Programme:
• Respighi – Ancient Airs and Dances
• Clara Schumann – Piano Concerto
• Beethoven – Pastoral Symphony No. 6

If you'd like to keep up to date with the orchestra's activities, join the South London Sinfonia Friends Group by emailing Margaret Hawkins at [email protected].

Join us at the festival to enjoy great food, wonderful music, and celebrate the rich musical heritage of our community!
