It’s actually a great picture of what can happen when we try to fill our deepest longings with the wrong things. We can look to all sorts of things to satisfy our thirst for meaning, purpose, love and fulfilment — but they can leave us still thirsty, or even thirstier than before.

In her talk, Julia explores spiritual thirst and reminds us that it’s okay to have questions about faith, to be searching, and to bring our longings honestly to God.

🥳 We’re excited to announce that we now have two EV chargers available at Crowhurst!

The chargers will be available for the use of our guests, staff and volunteers, making it even easier to charge your electric vehicle while you’re with us.

We’re just finalising the tariff, and the chargers should be up and running within the next couple of days. 🚗⚡

If you’d like to use one, please do enquire at Reception when you arrive.

“It is never foolish to ask questions about faith.”

Do you have questions about God, faith or the things you’re longing for? Perhaps you’ve wondered whether it’s okay to admit that you’re not sure, or that you’re still searching.

🌊 “Like a tidal wave crashing over me, rushing in to meet me here. Your love is fierce.”

These words from Jesus Culture’s Your Love Is Fierce paint such a powerful picture of God’s love — overwhelming, relentless and impossible to hold back.

But is this how you would describe God’s love?

Have you experienced the fierce love of God — a love that pursues you, meets you where you are and refuses to let you go?

Or perhaps the idea of God’s love being fierce makes you feel uncomfortable. If it does, why not bring that feeling honestly before God? Talk to Him about it. Ask Him to show you what His love really looks like.
