Nepal's death toll has exceeded 1,000 after last week's devastating floods, and officials say over 4,000 are missing. Rescue efforts continue despite the heavy rains and risk of further flooding.

In conjunction with our partners in Nepal, the Mission Board have now launched an Emergency Aid Appeal to provide aid for the area. It is planned that our friends in Kathmandu will travel to the affected areas and distribute aid, including tents, rice and other food and blankets. Your help to provide the necessary funds will be greatly appreciated as we try to do all we can to help the needy people of Nepal.

A Historic Night at Crossgar Free Presbyterian Church

What a wonderful and historic night as Rev. Raymond Morrow was installed as minister of Crossgar Free Presbyterian Church.

We are so thankful to everyone who came along to share in this special occasion. With over 250 people in attendance and a full church, it was a tremendous encouragement to see so many gathered together.

A sincere thank you to all the ministerial colleagues who took part in the service, and to everyone who helped in any way to make the evening so memorable.

We also want to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Rev. McLernon and his wife for their faithful pastoral care, support and help over the past two years as Interim Moderator. His time, guidance, kindness, encouragement and commitment has been greatly appreciated.

Please continue to pray for Rev. Morrow and his family as he takes up the ministry here in Crossgar, that the Lord will bless, strengthen and use him greatly in the days ahead.
