This will be followed by the CHILDREN & FAMILIES ALL AGE SERVICE AT 11.00am. All are welcome to attend.

Benefice Service times

Sunday is the eleventh Sunday after Trinity and since it is the third Sunday in the month our 11a.m. Service will be an all age family service, led by our rector the Revd. Jeremy Sykes.

In the gospel reading from St. Matthew Chapter 15 verses 21-28 we will hear about the Faith of a Canaanite Woman.
“Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted”.

Prior to the service from 10.15 a.m everyone is invited to come and share in a community breakfast and Amanda, one of our Churchwardens, has posted the following invitation to you all:-

“Children, Families & All Ages, whether Local or Visiting, are enthusiastically invited to join us at All Saints Church Beeston Regis (NR27 9QY) on Sunday 20th AUGUST, for a FREE Community BREAKFAST @ 10.15am .
GF✅ This is prior to our CHILDREN & FAMILIES All Age Service, which begins @ 11am.
We'll be serving juices, hot drinks, pastries, toast, muesli, fruit salad & yogurt .
We seek to reach out & support any person or household experiencing food poverty, or who is vulnerable in other ways. Please come & eat freely with us; there's NO NEED TO BOOK!”

Everyone is welcome to our 11 a.m. service of Holy Communion on Sunday, the 10th Sunday after Trinity, which will be led by the Revd. Paul Yeomans.

In the Gospel reading which is from St. Matthew’s Gospel Chapter14 verses 22-33 we hear how Jesus walked on the water

What a wonderful Benefice service it was last Sunday with nearly 60 people in attendance! There was quite a buzz and it was wonderful to welcome so many people.

Thinking about the ministry of welcome, here is a prayer that you may like to use this week:

Lord God, you called us to find friendship with one another in your Church and together to serve our world.
Bless our fellowship with your Spirit, that we may be strengthened through the example and the encouragement of others,
and open our eyes once again to the needs of this world,
that through prayer, hospitality and works of practical service we may bring your love to all those who need it most,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Monday 7th August - 10.00am to 12 Noon - Holy Trinity, West Runton - Our new monthly "3C's Club" will be meeting again for a "Coffee, Chat and Cleaning" session. So if you fancy coming along for a coffee, or a chat, and a chance to help with doing some cleaning in the church, or doing a spot of gardening in the churchyard, then do please come along, you will be most welcome. There is no commitment to come every month, or even for the whole 2 hours, just pop in and see us!!
