The Child of God who can approach His Father on the prayer closet is also given a wonderful privilaged glimpse of the Majesty, splendour and might of God inHis sovereign, ruling position. It is these two rounded aspects of God that aids the Christian to "pray aright.'

Crich baptist church, Sunday 30 August 2026, Morning Sermon. As we start to look at the model prayer that Jesus gave His disciples, we focus this week on the first phrase which is so important, that being "Our Father." Christ has bought us into filial relationship with the God of Heaven and earth. A relationship that brings us assurance of access, assurance of sonship and assurance of our being treated as sons and daughters in regard to our petitions and supplications in the room of prayer. We must know Him and be able to address Him as “Our Father.”

Crich baptist church 23 August 2026, evening sermon. As the big fish opens its mouth again at the Lords command, Jonah is spewed forth onto dry land. Web have seen a full picture of Christs work within this story, now ending in the resurrection from the dead. if we are in Christ we have been crucified with Him and raised to newness of life with Him, this newness of life means that we are "Born anew", "created anew" and living "life anew", not by our own efforts but by the saving work of God through Christ.
