Unfortunately, the Opus contractors were unable to complete their work on Wednesday as the 1960s installation has posed some problems. Another team will attend on Monday 7th September with the right equipment to complete the work.
That means our hole in the ground is going to be cluttering up the car park for at least another fortnight.
Please bear with us as we get this longstanding problem sorted.

From Tuesday next week, some important work will take place with our electrical supply by Stark and SP Energy. A hole will be dug about where the white car is in the top photo some time on Tuesday 25th August. On Wednesday 26th, between 12 and 4 pm, the green cast iron box in the lower right photo will be modified or replaced, and there will be no power to the church or hall for a time. The hole will then be filled in later, not before Friday morning.
If you are coming to a daytime group or an event at All Saints; while the works are going on, please park as far away as you can from the church hall side of the car park to let the contractors have access.
The only event happening on Wednesday 26th will be our usual Wednesday morning service at 11am.

At the moment, road works have closed access to All Saints' church car park from Stewart Street, as well as the Stewart Street end of Rockwood Avenue.
The easiest way to get to the car park if you are attending a meeting or service at All Saints', is via Alton Street and Rockwood Avenue. The alley on the right between the garage and the house near the road block leads directly into All Saints' car park.
We are hoping this inconvenience does not last too long.
