You may have heard us talk about one of our charity partners . Working alongside the local church in 29 countries, Compassion are about releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name. So, what makes Compassion distinct as a charity? They are:

✝️ Christ-centred: Everything they do starts and ends with Jesus. He’s their foundation, their model, and the heartbeat of their mission.

🧒 Child-focused: Compassion equips children to overcome the spiritual, economic, social and physical challenges of poverty — helping each one step into their full, God-given potential.

⛪ Church-driven: Compassion always works through local churches who deeply know and love their communities, ensuring long-term, locally led solutions that bring lasting change.

We love being part of this journey — and we’d love you to join us in praying for and supporting the work of Compassion around the world.

is a trusted charity partners, working through local churches to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

But why partner with the local church? Because the Church is God’s chosen vessel to bring hope, healing and justice to the world — and Compassion exists to equip and empower it for that mission.

They seek out churches whose hearts have been broken by the injustice of poverty and are already moving with compassion to support children in their communities.

These churches bring deep cultural understanding, local knowledge of community needs, and strong relationships. They are best placed to develop local, sustainable solutions that bring long-term change.

Compassion comes alongside as a catalyst and connector — amplifying the church’s impact and helping to release even more children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Together, we’re part of God’s mission to bring His hope to children living in poverty. Learn more about Compassion's work on their website or join us at church this Sunday to find out more!

Right now, more than 2.3 million children are part of Compassion projects where they receive practical support and hear just how loved they are by Jesus.

To take part, you can adopt a box between 1-60. The box you choose equals the amount of money you're pledging. This is a one off payment.

You can take part online by clicking this link: https://www.newlifecrewe.com/adopt-a-box
