It’s our monthly all-age family service at 10 am on Sunday, when we’ll be hearing about rocks, sand and where best to build a house!
Come and join us for this 45-minute service, followed by refreshments. Children’s crafts available at the back of church for any restless little ones ( or adults!).😊

We’re delighted to be welcoming the Bishop of Chester, the Right Reverend Mark Tanner (pictured), to St Luke’s this Sunday - May 10th - for a special 10am service.

Four members of our congregation are getting confirmed, and whilst this won’t be our usual ‘second Sunday’ family service, children are very welcome. We’ll have a crafts table for them at the back of church.

So if you’ve never met the Bishop of Chester, come and join in what will be a joyful and memorable service - 10am this Sunday, followed by refreshments.😊

Come and celebrate Easter Sunday tomorrow at St Luke’s as we join together in a family communion service at 10am. It’s the most joyful day in the church calendar. Our church will be beautifully decorated with Easter flowers and there will be plenty of Easter eggs to remind us how the stone was rolled away from Jesus’ tomb. How do we know that Jesus is alive today? Come along and find out!💐🌺🌷💒

More than 30 children made Easter crafts in our Good Friday workshop this morning, before walking to church to hear the Easter story from Reverend Christine, and rounding off a lovely morning with our traditional egg rolling down the church path.
Big thanks to organiser Maureen, her team of helpers, and all the parents who supported us.😊🐣🐣🥙🥙🐇🐰💒💒

Looking for local activities to occupy the children over Easter? Send them to our free Good Friday morning workshop
It’s from 10am to 12 noon in the old school hall, Goostrey.

Pre-school children need a parent to stay with them but others can be signed in and left with our willing band of helpers. After a morning of crafts and refreshments, we walk to the church for a short story and the fun of egg rolling down the church path before returning to the school hall.
It’s a lovely way for children to enter into the Easter spirit.

Remember - free Easter Children’s Workshop - this coming Friday 3rd. It’s from 10am-12 noon in the old school hall.

Palm Sunday begins Easter week, so why not join our contemplative service this Sunday, March 29th, when we think of Jesus bring cheered into Jerusalem as he rode on a humble donkey, across Palm-strewn paths. The service starts at 10am from The Crown car park, where we meet to walk behind Palm boughs to church. But you can go straight to church for 10am if you prefer.

Chocolate coins! What’s not to like? Everyone will be given one after this Sunday’s family service at 10am. And there’s a hunt for children to take part in too - plus crafts - plus refreshments. The parable of the lost coin is a great theme for a short family-friendly church service so join us if you can - 10am in St. Luke’s this coming Sunday, March 8th.😊
