The baby and toddler group at our sister church, All Saints Madeley, restarts next Monday, with a new name!

To go with the new school year, Praise and Play has a new name! Mini Saints will be starting on Monday 7th September at 9am. There will be the same warm welcome, and lots of play, stories and crafts. If you look after a baby, toddler or pre-schooler, we'd love for you to join us.

Enjoy singing? Why not come and give St Margaret's Choir a go. We’ll help you have fun, develop your singing confidence and make music in friendly and welcoming environment. Men and women are welcome and music reading is not essential. Join us for choir practice any Friday evening in church, from Fri Sept 4th onwards.

Massive thanks to those who helped to smarten up the old churchyard and around the church for our 1st Gardening 🌿Club session on Saturday!! It's looking great 👏. Thank you to Jane Hamer and Sheila Bedson for watering and feeding us ☕️🫖🍰 and to Jacob for collecting all the bags of rubbish. Our next session will be SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER 9am-11am ... if you have a loved one buried in the churchyard, or if you enjoy a bit of gardening, or if you just want to support your community ... we'd love you to join us 👍

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE ***

We have undertaken our Annual Churchyard Memorial Safety Checks.

Headstones and memorials can unfortunately become dangerously unstable predominantly due to a combination of age, the weather and soil errosion.

Sadly we have had to place a cordon around some memorials, due to their level of instability, to warn and protect people visiting our churchyards. We have also identified other memorials that require professional repair but at this stage do not warrant a cordon.

Our aim now is to make every effort to contact the families of all of those memorials affected so that the headstones can be re-fixed/repaired and continue to be a lasting tribute.

We will begin to attach warning signs and we will share photographs of the affected memorials on both our own and the local community pages.
