Re Roadworks in the Main Street:
Just enquired about vehicular access to the Surgery today:

Vehicular access is possible via Wordland Cross, down past the cemetery to Church Cross and then continuing to the Surgery.

They will be gone from the village by 12 noon today when the main street will be open to vehicles again.
Work will resume on Monday for the section near the church and the road going out of the village at that end.

They hope to have it all done by the end of Tuesday.
Aren't they doing a brilliant job, and such a friendly and cheerful
'bunch 🙏!"

GREAT TO SEE JEREMY BREAK HIS WALKABOUT FOR A LUNCHTIME PIT STOP AT ST MATTHEW'S, AND FOR US ALL TO BE ABLE TO SPUR HIM ONWARDS.
HIS NEXT STOPS WERE STOCKLEIGH ENGLISH, KENNERLEIGH & WOOLSERY. HE AND HIS FELLOW WALKERS ARE NOW HEADING TO PUDDINGTON, THEN WASHFORD PYNE BEFORE FINISHING IN MORCHARD BISHOP.

JEREMY PUTNAM'S GOING WALKABOUT...
Do come down to St Matthew's tomorrow if you can to you say hello and spur him on for the last leg of his walk tomorrow - he's aiming to be at St Matthew's at around 1pm and St Mary's at around 2.30pm. Well done Jeremy!
