Invitation
Friends are warmly invited to register for this event being organised by Northern Friends Peace Board.
We have been and are living at a time that presents many challenges. This gathering will be an opportunity to reflect, learn, inspire and support one another, focusing on what our testimony for peace means in the world today. We shall have times of prepared input and workshops, as well as more open opportunities for discussion, exploration and connection on themes that emerge on the day.

Where: At Friargate Quaker Meeting House in the centre of York
When: Saturday 13th June 2026, 10:30am – 4pm
Who: Open to Friends and Attenders from across the North (and beyond). There will not be a separate young persons programme – under 18s welcome accompanied by an adult.

Cost: Contributions, ‘as led’ on the day would be welcome.
And also: There will be refreshments, including a buffet lunch (vegetarian and vegan), a craft stall raising funds for NFPB, music and more.
Register to attend via: https://forms.gle/8NPLdiuv5cSnMoqM7

A blocked drain was reported to Lancashire County Council on November 7th and still we await resolution. This is a busy corner leading to an industrial area along Stoneholme Road and a farm track uphill behind the Limey Water with heavy vehicle usage. This is detrimental to our walled property and we’ve been told it may be sorted by the end of this month. So much for our public services these days!
