The weather wasn't behaving very well on Good Friday afternoon when Lynne led a group on a countryside walk. To quote Lynne: 'A good but soggy time was had by all.' Well done to everyone who braved the weather!

GOOD FRIDAY WALK 3 APRIL
We will be meeting on Goodshaw Baptist Church car park, Chapel St (just off Burnley Road) at 1.45pm. We will then drive up to the Clowbridge Reservoir car park which is down the track opposite the Beijing Restaurant. The walk should take about two to two and a half hours and is mainly along well-maintained paths with no steep slopes or stiles. Dogs on leads are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Unless we get some prolonged dry weather, there are likely to be some muddy patches so walking boots, wellies or other sturdy footwear is recommended. If you do not have transport don't let it put you off – we will car share.

Please be aware that the church car park barrier will be locked from 11.30am on Friday 27 March until Sunday 12 April for the Easter holidays. It will only be open for church activities during this time.

The church car park will be closed (with the barrier down) following Toddler Group on Friday 13th February until Sunday 22nd February, other than for church events.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Carols by Candlelight service on Sunday evening.

It was wonderful to be entertained by the Reach Puppets at our Sunday morning service this week. The gospel was shared in a beautifully creative and musical way. Thank you to all involved.

This Thursday will be the last Pathfinders of 2025. We will be starting again on Thursday 8 January.

The first Sunday in December was our LEGO service, where children and adults alike enjoyed building 'O Little Town of Bethlehem'. It was lovely to welcome some new families besides our regular congregation, and the morning was topped off with hot chocolate with marshmallows, and chocolate biscuits.

Last Thursday evening was an exciting time for Pathfinders children and helpers. They had a fabulous time making up our Bags of Joy, which were then taken to Crawshawbooth Village Centre for distribution to families and individuals in need. We hope we helped to share the love of Jesus and make their Christmas a little more joyous.
