Today was a wonderful day of praise and worship at Broadfield Christian Fellowship. We lifted our voices together, singing hymns of praise and thanksgiving to God, and it was a joy to share in such a warm and uplifting time of worship.

We also continued our study in the book of James, with Yale leading the teaching from James 5:1-12. The passage warns against oppression, and Yale challenged us to think beyond the common assumption that oppression is only something carried out by the rich, the powerful, or those in positions of authority.

The message encouraged us to reflect on our own daily interactions and consider how we treat those around us. Whether with neighbours, family members, friends, or colleagues, we are called to live with patience, love, respect, and kindness.

We thank Jesus for another meaningful service filled with worship, fellowship, and encouragement from His Word.

You are warmly invited to join us next Sunday at 10:30am at Broadfield Christian Fellowship, Broadfield Community Centre, Broadfield Barton, Crawley, RH11 9BA.

We would love to welcome you.

Today’s service at Broadfield Christian Fellowship was both challenging and encouraging as we continued our journey through the book of James.

Ian brought a thoughtful message from James 4:1–17 on the theme, “Warning Against Worldliness (Or How to Live in Our New Creation Being).” We explored three important areas that can affect our walk with God: the problem of entitlement, the danger of judging others from the wrong position, and the temptation to rely on ourselves rather than on God.

The message reminded us that following Christ calls us to humility, dependence on God, and a willingness to examine our own hearts before criticising others. It was a timely encouragement to live as the new creations God has called us to be, allowing His wisdom and grace to shape our attitudes, decisions, and relationships.

We are grateful for another wonderful opportunity to worship together, learn from God’s Word, and encourage one another in faith.

You are warmly invited to join us next Sunday at 10:30am at Broadfield Christian Fellowship, Broadfield Community Centre, Broadfield Barton, Crawley, RH11 9BA.

We would love to welcome you.

Today’s service at Broadfield Christian Fellowship was such a joyful and refreshing time in God’s presence. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was filled with gladness as we lifted our voices in musical praise and worship together. Everyone was in high spirits, and it was wonderful to see hearts united in worship and fellowship.

One particularly meaningful part of the service was the opportunity to choose prayer cards and images, using them as points of contact to pray for people, different situations, communities, and nations around the world.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to encourage one another, worship together, and stand in prayer for people and situations.

You are warmly invited to join us next Sunday at 10:30am at Broadfield Christian Fellowship , Broadfield Community Centre, Broadfield Barton, Crawley, RH11 9BA.

We would love to welcome you.

Today’s service at Broadfield Christian Fellowship was both encouraging and reflective as we continued our journey through James 3:13-18 on the theme of the Two Kinds of Wisdom.

Lawrence shared an inspiring message about the difference between wisdom from above, which is godly wisdom that is pure and humble, versus the wisdom from below, which is driven by selfish ambition and desire for self gratification. It was a timely reminder that a better life does not begin with money or possessions, but with true wisdom from God.

Lawrence also challenged us to remember how powerful our words can be. The things we say have the ability to encourage and guide, but they can also cause harm if not spoken with wisdom.

We thank God for another meaningful time of worship, learning, and fellowship together.

You are warmly invited to join us next Sunday at 10:30am at Broadfield Christian Fellowship, Broadfield Community Centre, Broadfield Barton, Crawley, RH11 9BA.

We would love to welcome you.
