Young Adults (18-35) are invited to a retreat day on the theme of being a peacemaker.
26 September, 10am-6.30pm, St Wilfrid’s Church, Burgess Hill, RH15 9EN (Cost: £20).

A jam-packed day of prayer, formation, friendship, and fun, praying to discover true peace within ourselves, to become peacemakers in the world around us, and to be renewed with an apostolic fire burning brightly within our hearts.

As part of the Corpus Christi celebrations at Arundel Cathedral, the Diocesan Youth Team hosted a special evening for young adults aged 18 to 35 from across the Diocese. Attendees were invited to view the Carpet of Flowers, listen to a talk & spend time in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Be part of our diocesan Adoremus group in London this October! The Catholic Church in England and Wales: bishops, priests and people from all Dioceses, will gather at St George's Cathedral, Southwark, and Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 10 October for a day of renewing and deepening devotion to our Eucharistic Lord

The day will include Mass, a Eucharistic Procession from Southwark to Westminster, a keynote address from Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe and Benediction.

Last week, St Mary Magdalene Catholic Primary School in Bexhill was delighted to welcome Dr Kieran Mullan MP. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the school community and celebrate the achievements of the pupils.

Pupils were also able to share work on “Care for Creation”, including their involvement in beach cleans. In addition, Dr Mullan enjoyed a performance with a song accompanied by sign language actions, showcasing the creativity and inclusivity of the school's curriculum. Dr Mullan was particularly impressed by the children's thoughtful responses to questions and the pride they demonstrated in their achievements.

The Choir of Arundel Cathedral was privileged to sing at Westminster Cathedral recently. The Mass, for Trinity Sunday, was celebrated by Archbishop Richard Moth, with Arundel Cathedral Dean, Fr Stephen Dingley, concelebrating, and a full cathedral congregation in attendance.
