Last night we had our zoom catch up with our workers in Romania.
Firstly, In Romania the 1st June is called childrenās day, so to mark this day all of the workers did special outreaches to the children on this day.
Bucharest and BacÄu had special meetings in their Churches - giving out sweets, popcorn, pizza and then a Bible lesson story.
Florina - went to the villages and met with the children. A lady was able to give her discounted toys for the children, and she also gave them some chocolate and did a Bible lesson with them. You can see her pictures attached.
Secondly, they told us of their plans for the summer. They will appreciate your prayers for their ministries this summer. There will be ministries going forth in Romania & at home.
BUCHAREST
During term time Marianna and her daughter works in an after school club setting and recently they had a good opportunity on a special afternoon to bring a Bible lesson and give out some childrenās Bibles. Most families took. But a few declined.
During the summerā¦.
Marianna & Laurentiu hope to have a weekend away for their Sunday School teachers as a thank you but also just off a time of fellowship together.
24-27th August they will be at camp with 10 young people from their own Church and joining with two other Churches.
FLORINA
She will be involved with the Romanian CEF summer outreach program. They usually go each year to a county and focus on that area.
This program will start on 8th July in 100 different places. Florina will be in 3 areas doing Bible clubs etc during this time.
In August she will be doing Holiday Bible clubs.
Can you pray for her as she travels a lot of miles and often on her own. Also recently she has experienced some opposition in some people telling children not to go to her Bible clubs. Please do pray that the enemy will be defeated.
BACÄU
27th July Cristi & Denisa will be involved in a childrenās camp alongside other Churches.
24th August their second camp will be this week with teens.
Also Cristi other ministry is going very well and they had a day with families invited and he was able to bring an epilogue from the Bible.
Please do pray that God will continue to speak into hearts and that there will be salvation!
NI
Naomi will be involved in 3 summer Bible clubs this summer during August. In Kesh Co. Fermanagh, Ravernet close to Sprucefield and Ballysillan.
Her theme this year is the wordless book and she would value your prayers for these Bible clubs but also in her preparation these next weeks during July.
