THE PURSUIT OF LIFE
The pursuit of life refers to the active, lifelong journey of striving to find meaning, purpose, and fulfilment.

God's plan is good...
SURELY YOU WILL FLOURISH... If you allow God to shape your life...
We must see life FROM
God's point of view,
NEVER from our human point of view

What is our grand pursuit of life.

1. To know Christ.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an
understanding, THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and ETERNAL LIFE. (NKJV)

John17:3
3 And THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

We need not just information about
Him, But Transformation Through knowing Him.

Philippians 3:10 And this, so that I may KNOW HIM EXPERIENTIALLY, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him,
UNDERSTANDING the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely. (AMP)

The NOBLEST T PURSUIT of life is to know Christ. AND EVERYTHING WILL FOLLOW.

2. To be like Christ.

Ephesians 4:1 As a prisoner of the Lord, I plead with you to WALK HOLY, in a way that is SUITABLE to your HIGH RANK, given to you in your DIVINE CALLING. (TPT)

Most of our pains are because of our immaturity. God wants us to Grow in Character.

Romans 5:3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that THEY HELP US DEVELOP endurance. 4 And endurance DEVELOPS strength of character... (NLT)

God is REALLY concern with our Character more than our career. Also in our Faith.

1 Peter 1:6 Be glad about this, even though it may now be necessary for you to be sad FOR A WHILE because of the MANY kinds of trials you suffer. 7 Their PURPOSE is to PROVE that your faith is GENUINE. Even gold, which can be destroyed, is TESTED by fire; AND SO YOUR FAITH, which is much more precious than gold,MUST also be tested, so that it may endure.
Then you will receive praise and glory and honor on the Day when Jesus Christ is revealed. (GNT)

GOD IS REFINING US TO BECOME LIKE A PURE GOLD, AND THAT IS CHRISTLIKENESS.

3. To do the purpose of Christ.

Proverbs 16:4
The Lord has made EVERYTHING for his own purposes.

THE GRAND PURSUIT OF LIFE IS TO DO THE PURPOSE OF CHRIST. Not our purpose.

Ephesians 1:11-12 It's in Christ that we
FIND out WHO we are and WHAT we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had DESIGNS on us for GLORIOUS living, PART of the overall PURPOSE he is working out in everything and everyone. (MSG)

Life, to be a Masterpiece, It must be DRIVEN by the Purpose of Christ.
What Drives your life?

Ecclesiastes 4:4 Then I observed that the BASIC MOTIVE for success is the
DRIVING FORCE OF ENVY AND JEALOUSY! But this, too, is foolishness, chasing the wind. (TLB)

Romans 11:36 For everything comes from God alone.
Everything lives by his power, and EVERYTHING IS FOR HIS GLORY. To him be glory evermore. (TLB)

4. To fulfil the mission of Christ.

John 17:18 In the same way that you gave me a mission in the world, I give them a mission in the world. (MSG)

THE GRAND PURSUIT OF LIFE IS TO DO THIS MISSION prepared by God beforehand.

2 Timothy 4:2 PREACH the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and exhort, with great patience and instruction.
