Our Harvest Festival service at St Peter's will be on 4th October. Your harvest gifts will be given to the FSW food bank to help the families they are supporting 🤗 🙏

🌾 Harvest Festival Foodbank Collection 🌾

As we head into harvest season, we’re incredibly grateful to all the churches, schools, community groups and supporters who choose to support Family Support Work by collecting food for our Foodbank 💚

Harvest is a wonderful opportunity to come together and share what we have with families across Sussex who may be struggling to make ends meet. Every tin, packet and jar donated can make a real difference 🥫

If your church or group is planning a Harvest collection this year, we would be so grateful if you would consider collecting tinned and packaged food for FSW.

Swipe through to see some of the items we’re particularly looking for, and please contact Spencer to arrange a collection.

Just £4.50 could provide a tasty summer picnic lunch for two children ☀️

Days out during the summer give children (and their parents) the chance to experience things they may not ordinarily have access to, and make memories which they can share with their friends when they go back to school in September.

Making memories as a child and having these new experiences is such an important part of growing up. We love being able to help give families these opportunities when they may not be able to provide them for themselves because of mental health barriers, lack of confidence, financial pressures or simply the mental load of everyday life.

Your donation really can help make a difference and give a child a summer memory to tell their friends 💚

What do you think of our life belts?
We wrote our prayers on the back of the life belts and floated them in the font. This after hearing the story of when Jesus walked on the water. Peter wanted to walk to him but he started to sink when he became afraid. Jesus asked "Why did you doubt?" We are all safe when we keep our eyes on Jesus 👀✝️
We enjoyed the life belt shaped doughnuts afterwards too! 🍩😀
