It was announced this morning in church that Kate Pellereau and her family will be leaving St Laurences later this year in order to take up the role of Team Vicar in the Benefice of Glascote and Stonydelph in the Diocese of Lichfield. She has been here for three years serving as an Associate Minister and helping, but now running the Mission Hub based out of St Laurences.

We’re so excited to be back together this September — and with some new people joining us recently, it’s a great time to come back, get connected, and be part of church together.

This month, we’re starting a new sermon series exploring what it really means to be CHURCH TOGETHER — how we belong, grow, serve and follow Jesus side by side.

St Laurence's Hope Hub will be giving out breakfast and lunch packs next Wednesday and Thursday to anyone who is struggling over the holidays. You can expect the following items.

Breakfast Packs:
Cereals
Milk
Butter
Jam
Bread
Juice

Lunch Packs:
Bread
Sandwich meats and cheese
Multipack crisps
Squash
Yoghurts
Biscuits

A few photos from our Thy Kingdom Come prayer space at StLaurences Primary school this week. So far we have made hand prints to remind us to pray for 5 and today we worked on a praise banner and build prayer walls out of duplo. We’ll be up and running again tomorrow with more activities for the children to engage in prayer.

Come along to our Youth Group tonight from 6:00pm in the church hall. It's our final evening with Ben and Rea, so we need to say goodbye to them. 😔😢😞😓😩😭💔

While I can't predict what will happen at youth tonight - if Rea has anything to do with it I am sure there will be a firepit! Come join us - for games first and then staying on for the bible study.

Honestly, what better way to spend a Thursday evening - and Thursdays can be distinctly average.
