On Saturday 5 July St Nicholas welcomed a group of pilgrims exploring chuches in the city that had been bombed in World War II and gone on to flourish with new life. You can read about the pilgrimage here:

The Revd Abby Rhodes, Priest-in-Charge of St Paul's Foleshill, writes about "From Ruins to Resurrection: A day to pray, ponder and understand our shared history in North Coventry."

On Saturday, 5th July we are invited to join pilgrims from around the deanery of Coventry North in walking together from St Laurence's, Foleshill to the Cathedral via a number of the parishes that suffered as a result of bombing during the Second World War. The pilgrimage will arrive at the current church of St Nicholas, Radford, at approximately 1.45pm. For those who do not wish to walk, it will also be possible to join the pilgrimage - in part or in whole - by public transport or car.

LENT GROUP
This year marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea and the Nicene Creed which we recite at Mass each Sunday as a proclamation of our faith. During Lent this year we will have the chance to join our friends at St John's using a course developed by the Society exploring key elements of the Creed.
We will gather:
in person in St John's Church Hall on Wednesdays 12, 19, 26 March and 2, 9 April at 1.00pm
or on Zoom on Thursday evenings 13, 20, 27 March and 3, 10 April at 7.30pm. Do be in touch if you would like the Zoom link to join in.

THIS SUNDAY, 2 February, there will be no Mass at St Nicholas.

Instead, we will join our friends at St John's at 11.00am for the celebration of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, otherwise known as Candlemas. Bishop Paul will celebrate and preach that day.

Mass will be followed by a parish lunch, and we look forward to that opportunity to spend time together. There is no charge for lunch, but donations will be invited towards the cost.
Do join us for what promises to be a special day.

Fr Dexter and representatives of St Nicholas were present along with Rev Aggy and representatives of St Francis, staff from Deeley Construction who are building the new facility and staff from Exemplar Health Care who will run it when it is built.
