Oaks & Acorns will be back from this Tuesday 8th September 2026.

If you have a child aged 0-4 years come along and join us at Meredith Road Baptist Church from 1pm - 2:30pm. 🕰️

Costs are just £1 per family/group, Child minders are also welcome. 👶🏻

What Does a Jesus: The Evidence Event Look Like?

A Jesus: The Evidence event typically consists of two, 40 minute presentations reviewing the historical and rational basis for Jesus being the Son of God - drawing upon the latest historical, textual and archaeological research and clear, rational argument. There is also an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation. A free 70 page booklet is also provided to each attendee at the end of each evening.
Jesus:The Evidence is an easy event to invite non-believers along to. The presentation style is designed with non-Christians in mind and there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

Outreach Opportunity for 2026 (August to December) – Jesus: The Evidence
Jesus: The Evidence (https://www.jesustheevidence.com/) is a one-session presentation that provides the extensive rational and historical evidence for Jesus being the Son of God. This outreach tool has been developed by Cathcart Church in Glasgow.

The language and approach of the presentation has been designed primarily for non-Christians. We know that attending a Jesus: The Evidence evening has been an important step for a number of non-Christians in their journey to faith. We also know that Christians find the information presented of value too. Christians have told us that a Jesus: The Evidence (JtE) evening has helped to strengthen their own faith and helped them share their faith with others.

18 Years of Jesus: The Evidence
Christian organisations have been hosting Jesus:The Evidence evenings around the UK for over 18 years. These have been held in churches, restaurants, pubs, schools and prisons.

Remember this is a completely free event with a sandwich, crisps and fruit snack included for the little ones! 🍎 🥪

MESSY CHURCH IS BACK 👀 🫟

Come and join us on Tuesday 28th July 1pm-3pm
for a fun filled afternoon of Crafts, Stories and Activities! 🎨

The sunshine it out ☀️, so outside will be open with the slides, chalk, and other outside games out, and our grass area with a fence separating it from the car park 🅿️ 🛝

A lunch snack will be available to each child, this consists of a sandwich 🥪, some crisps and a piece of fruit🍎🍐🍌, plus lots of squash and water for hydration 💧
Refreshments for adults will also be provided ☕️

Remember… this is a completely free event for all the family, whether that’s entertainment for the smaller ones, or interaction outside of the house over the summer holidays 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

We’re incredibly grateful for all the prayers, our amazing volunteers, and everyone who generously donated eggs. We welcomed over 230 people, our biggest Messy Church yet! 🎉

Our next Messy Church will be on Tuesday, 26th May. We’d love to see you there!
