_*📖But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image...(2 Corinthians 3:18).*_

Growth in Christ is relational. The more you know Him, the more you’re like Him, and the more His character, wisdom, glory and nature are expressed through your life. That’s true Christianity; it’s the unveiling of Christ in you. This is why your walk with Christ must remain personal and intimate.

The transformation God desires in your life comes through continual fellowship, beholding Him, as the Bible says: _*“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”*_ (2 Corinthians 3:18). Notice the progression: as you look, you’re changed.

The word translated “changed” comes from the Greek “metamorphoō,” from which we derive the word “metamorphosis”; a complete transformation from one state into another. Thus, the more you behold Christ through the Word, the more you become like Him. This is why you must never take your eyes away from the Lord.

The Bible says in Hebrews 12:2, _*“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith….”*_ It brings to mind Peter’s experience when the Lord Jesus asked him to walk up to Him on water. Peter walked on water as long as his focus remained on the Master. But the moment Peter looked away and became conscious of the wind and waves, he began to sink (Matthew 14:29-30).

That’s a lesson for every Christian. As long as you’re focused on the Lord, you’ll walk above the circumstances of life. You’ll walk above fear, sin, limitation, failure and the corrupting influences of this world. Hallelujah! Christianity is a call to walk on water, a call to look away from the natural elements, circumstances, pressures and challenges of this world, unto Christ!

*Dear Father, thank you for calling me into fellowship with you and transforming me by your Spirit. As I continually behold your glory through the Word, I’m metamorphosed into the same image, manifesting your excellence, beauty, wisdom and glory. _*📖Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood (Acts 20:28).*_

The Church of Jesus Christ is the most powerful organism in the world. We’re far more than an organization; we’re an organism. The Church is a living thing, the living body of Christ in the earth. This is why your attitude towards the Church matters a great deal. You must consciously love the Church of God from the depths of your heart.

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, describes the Church as that which God “purchased with his own blood.” The Lord Jesus paid an extraordinary price for the Church, the price of His blood, His very life. Therefore, to love Christ is to love His Church.

This love must go beyond the walls of your local assembly or denomination. Sometimes, people become so conscious of denominational differences; names, structures, or traditions that they forget the greater truth: we’re all one body in Christ. The local assembly down your street, though different from yours in style or administration, is still made up of God’s people. Love them. Appreciate them. Pray for them. Honour the work God is doing through them.

The Bible says in Ephesians 4:4, _*“There is one body, and one Spirit….”*_ We aren’t rivals competing against one another; we’re one body, one family, brothers and sisters in Christ. When this understanding fills your heart, it’ll rid it of jealousy, strife and division to see and relate with fellow Christians with greater love, honour and sincerity because you recognize that the same life of Christ flows through all of us. What a blessing to belong to the family of God; it’s the greatest family in the world. Praise God!

In the Kingdom of God, everything rides on purpose. God works on purpose. Nothing about your life is accidental or meaningless. You weren’t born merely because your father and mother came together and decided to have children. There’s a divine purpose for your life. There’s a reason God brought you into this world at such a time as this.

The most important thing in life is to discover your purpose and fulfil it. A whole lot of people go through life without ever finding out why they were born. They drift through life, distracted by endless pursuits, troubled by many things, frustrated by circumstances, unfulfilled and dissatisfied.

But when you know your purpose, your life changes; you become focused. Your decisions become clearer. Your priorities align with God’s direction for your life. You’re no longer tossed about by distractions because your heart is set on fulfilling the purpose for which God raised you.

The Lord Jesus lived this way. He knew exactly why He came. He said, _*“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day…”*_ (John 9:4). He stayed on course. He wasn’t distracted by opposition, applause, or human expectations. And at the end, He could boldly declare, _*“...It is finished...”*_ (John 19:30). He had accomplished the purpose for which the Father sent Him.

The Apostle Paul had the same consciousness. Towards the end of his earthly ministry, he said, _*“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”*_ (2 Timothy 4:7). What a testimony! He knew when he was done because he had lived with purpose and stayed faithful to the divine assignment God gave him. You must live with that same consciousness. Stay on course until you fulfil your divine assignment.

*Dear Father, I rejoice at your purpose and calling upon my life. I walk in wisdom and spiritual understanding, fulfilling the destiny you’ve ordained for me. I refuse distractions and remain focused on accomplishing your will with excellence, courage and faithfulness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*📜UNVEILING OF A DIVINE UNION*

*Monday, September 21st*

_*📖But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).*_

The moment you were born again, you were brought into an inseparable union with the Lord. The Bible doesn’t say you received help from Him or became associated with Him from a distance. Rather, it says, “he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”; not two spirits trying to work together but one inseparable spirit.

This is who the new creation is; the Spirit of God has been so mingled with your spirit. This is far beyond religion. The Apostle Peter gives us further insight into this in 2 Peter 1:4. He says through God’s exceeding great and precious promises, we’ve become “partakers of the divine nature.”

The expression translated “partakers of the divine nature” comes from the Greek construction, “koinōnoi theias physeōs,” meaning associates or companions of the God-kind. What a revelation! By natural birth, you came into this world as a member of ‘mankind.’ But through Christ Jesus, you’ve become an associate of the God-kind, a member of the heavenly pantheon.

This doesn’t mean you suddenly know everything God knows experientially; notwithstanding, you’re fully divine just as a child born into a human family is fully human even before he or she matures physically and intellectually. A child at five months old may not walk, speak clearly, or understand like an adult, but that child is no less human than his parents.

Likewise, in Christ, you’re not growing to become more divine. You’re only growing in the knowledge and expression of your divine nature. This is why the Bible tells us to _*“…grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ...”*_ (2 Peter 3:18). The growth is in knowledge, understanding, and manifestation. The divine life is already in you fully.

Refuse to see yourself as weak, ordinary, or merely human. There’s a higher life in you; the God-life. Think, talk, and act in agreement with your divine nature, origin and identity. You’re one with the Lord—replete with all His organic and existential attributes. Praise God!

*How great thou art, O, Lord! Thank you for bringing me into union with you through Christ Jesus. I think, talk, and act in agreement with your divine nature in me. *📜UNVEILING OF A DIVINE UNION*

_*📖But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).*_

The moment you were born again, you were brought into an inseparable union with the Lord. The Bible doesn’t say you received help from Him or became associated with Him from a distance. Rather, it says, “he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”; not two spirits trying to work together but one inseparable spirit.

This is who the new creation is; the Spirit of God has been so mingled with your spirit. This is far beyond religion. The Apostle Peter gives us further insight into this in 2 Peter 1:4. He says through God’s exceeding great and precious promises, we’ve become “partakers of the divine nature.”

The expression translated “partakers of the divine nature” comes from the Greek construction, “koinōnoi theias physeōs,” meaning associates or companions of the God-kind. What a revelation! By natural birth, you came into this world as a member of ‘mankind.’ But through Christ Jesus, you’ve become an associate of the God-kind, a member of the heavenly pantheon.

This doesn’t mean you suddenly know everything God knows experientially; notwithstanding, you’re fully divine just as a child born into a human family is fully human even before he or she matures physically and intellectually. A child at five months old may not walk, speak clearly, or understand like an adult, but that child is no less human than his parents.

Likewise, in Christ, you’re not growing to become more divine. You’re only growing in the knowledge and expression of your divine nature. This is why the Bible tells us to _*“…grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ...”*_ (2 Peter 3:18). The growth is in knowledge, understanding, and manifestation. The divine life is already in you fully.

Refuse to see yourself as weak, ordinary, or merely human. There’s a higher life in you; the God-life. Think, talk, and act in agreement with your divine nature, origin and identity. You’re one with the Lord—replete with all His organic and existential attributes. Praise God!

*How great thou art, O, Lord! Thank you for bringing me into union with you through Christ Jesus. I think, talk, and act in agreement with your divine nature in me. I’m replete with all the organic and existential attributes of divinity. I manifest your wisdom, excellence, victory and glory today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
