There has been a Church presence in Holbrooks since the early decades of the twentieth century, when housing began to be built for people working in local industry. The Church of Saint Luke was constructed in 1939 and, like the people of its parish, suffered the effects of the Second World War and its aftermath. Over the years our area has seen many changes, and Saint Luke's remains at the heart o

f its community as a reminder of God's presence in our world and of his love alive and active in our neighbourhood. Weekday Mass times:

We give thanks for this house of prayer, and for all who have worshipped here since its consecration on 18 July 1939. May God continue to bless this parish and strengthen our family of faith.
