A beautiful prayer to end the day - may we find peace; may we rest and heal, awake renewed, and may we feel close to your stillness in the tumult of the everyday.

Goodnight, all.

Have you ever done any of these - or been on the receiving end?
WOULD you do any of these?
Tell us (or somebody else) about random acts of kindness you have experienced.

Would you rather be a famous artist or a famous scientist?

Talk about it Tuesday continues...
This afternoon was volunteering time for me at a local care home, where we were doing sign language classes.
Today we were sharing - in BSL - how trees change in Autumn - leaves, colours, the wind, it getting cooler, the need for coats and jumpers, days getting shorter and darker.

Seasons change, times change - WE change.
What changes have YOU noticed - in yourself, in life, in the world?
If any of those things feel negative, is there a silver lining to them?
Talk about it (and don't worry if it's not in BSL đŸ˜‰)!

What sorts of things do you think that you are blessed to have?
Talk about them!
We spend so much time talking about the bad and sad stuff that the good stuff is sometimes ignored, and we forget how much of it is around!

This is something we have touched on before - but it's worth revisiting the concept of recognising how you have grown over the past year - what you have learned, realised, let go of, improved.
It's not boasting to recognise progress and change.

Today's TableTalk topic.
What would your answer be?
Why not try this question out on people you talk to today?

Good morning! Talk about it Tuesday brings to mind one of last Sunday's readings, Matthew 18:15-20, which was about resolving conflicts.
It can be so easy to feel that you have to have the last word, to be justified, but that can end up escalating things, turning into 'you hurt me so I'll hurt you.'
Of COURSE there are things which need to be called out, challenged - but there's a difference between wanting the upper hand and wanting resolution, between domination and collaboration.
Wounding, or healing - which is better?
