Are you and your pupils interested in listening to some stories about the Holocaust told by a family member?

We are hosting a Holocaust speaker event with “Generation 2 Generation” at Coventry Cathedral on 23 June 2025. This 6th form event will give your pupils the opportunity to hear a second-generation Holocaust survivor talk about their family and help keep the memory of the Holocaust alive.

Get in touch to book your place — the event is free!

“The purpose of telling Sam’s story is not only to educate about the Holocaust and to demonstrate triumph over adversity, but to show where extremism and racism can ultimately lead. It is a message of acceptance of difference and a call to address injustice”

Are you looking for an accessible and exciting way to teach your students the Easter story?

This Spring through story, activities, and reflection we journey along the Easter story.
Covering six aspects of this famous story we take you through our spaces and create a kind of walking pilgrimage.
At each station we stop, tell the story and relate the key theme to our lives using an activity and a moment of reflection.
Originally created for EYFS and ages 5-8 we now offer this event to all Primary School ages.
From 31st March - 10th April 2025, morning and afternoon sessions available!

This is also a perfect way to put the new COVENTRY AND WARWICKSHIRE AGREED R.E. SYLLABUS into action!

For more information or to book now please get in touch!

Did you know about the coins in the floor?

When the "New Cathedral" was being built, the children of Coventry saved a penny a week to help. Some of these coins were incorporated into the floor and now show our choristers and priests during the services how far to walk and when to turn.

(The first photo shows the tiled floor of the "new Cathedral", with the rows of chairs on either side. On the black stripes you can see some gold coins. The other picture is a detailed shot of one of these coins.)
