Hello everyone,

At our final celebration back in July we took the opportunity to advertise (is that the right word?) gatherings in the local area where Holy Spirit refills are happening! Here is an update from the South Glos Filling Station who have their first meeting of the Autumn this Thursday evening... 26th September 2024.

We’re excited to be back for a new season of the work of the Holy Spirit, at South Glos Filling Station (See dates below!). We’re fully booked up with speakers into 25 to 26 and have brought back some old friends, as well as inviting some new ones to South Glos Filling Station. We begin this month on the 26th September @ 7:30pm, meeting at the Manor Hall, off Roundways, Coalpit Heath, Bristol BS36 2TG with guest speaker; David Dalley.

David and his wife Faith Dalley are itinerant speakers who travel internationally, sharing the message of the Father heart of God. They have ministered in over 20 nations including India, Africa, Russia, the Netherlands, Brazil and Ukraine. Having found such freedom in Him, they love to share it with others and help people encounter Him in the same way. They run events called “Father Heart Schools” to help people encounter God in a deeper way.

We are hoping to have guest worship leaders as well this year but this month Andrew Gammie is ably leading worship.

For your diaries, here are all the dates up until July 2025. As before, these informal 'come just as you are' praise and worship gatherings will be held at St Swithin's, Walcott, Bath, starting 6:30 pm. Come and gather with others who are passionate about expressing their love for Jesus...🔥🔥🔥

Greetings one and all,

The Box Filling Station – final celebration tonight, Tuesday 9th July

Several of our leadership team need to stand down this summer. So sadly we report that, after 18 years meeting as “The Filling Station” (and 3 ½ years before that as “Prayer and Praise”), our monthly gatherings are coming to a close this week.

Our final gathering today will be a celebration of God and all He has done in and through The Filling Station. There is so much to be thankful for. The evening will include:
An extended time of worship, led by Susanna Downes and hopefully joined by some of the great worship leaders who have faithfully led our worship over the years gone by. A time to soak in the presence of God, with no distractions or time constraints!
An opportunity for your testimonies. Please do come with your stories of how God has impacted you through The Filling Station. Let’s share and celebrate how great is our God! A short talk by David Morrell, looking to the future. Several short snippets about other meetings in our local area where you might feel drawn to get a Holy Spirit top up. An opportunity for Prayer Ministry and fellowship.

Do come along and please pass the word to anyone you know who has been connected with Box TFS in the past.
We will be in the Methodist Church on the A4 as usual (please park in the Recreation Ground car park or on the Devizes Road).

Doors open at 7.00 PM for coffee and cakes, starting at about 7.30 and finishing at about 9.30.

The Filling Station in Box will be meeting for our monthly gathering of worship, teaching and prayer – and of course great coffee and cakes - today, Tuesday 11th June at 7.30 pm.

We are excited to be welcoming David Hull back to Box, he will be speaking on the theme of;

"The Gentle Whispers of Providence".

David is an inspiring teacher of the Bible, bringing the word to life and applying it to us today. The Holy Spirit always honours his gifts and we can be sure of an exciting evening on Tuesday.

Our musical worship will be led this month by John Davies - possibly his farewell gig leading our worship at Box TFS as he prepares to move job and family from Bath to West Lavington!

Do come along and bring friends, family and neighbours. We will be in the Methodist Church on the A4 as usual (please park in the Recreation Ground car park or on the Devizes Road). Doors open at 7.00 PM for coffee and cakes, starting at about 7.30 and finishing around 9.30.

“Redigging the wells” with Tim Buckley tonight.

The Filling Station in Box will be meeting for our monthly gathering of worship, teaching and prayer – and of course great coffee and cakes - (tonight) Tuesday 14th May 7.30 pm.

We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Rev Tim Buckley as our guest speaker. He will be speaking about “Redigging the wells”.

Tim has been a great supporter of TFS and in the past gave great talks. Formerly the Vicar of Widcombe churches of St Thomas’ and St Matt’s, Tim felt called during his Sabbatical pilgrimage to move on from Church of England Parish Ministry to explore new adventures and new ways of shaping and resourcing churches. He and his wife Sarah have recently taken over leadership of Life Central church in Wellington.

After the Easter celebrations we are really looking forward to meeting again next week on Tuesday 9th April at 7.30 pm (coffee and cake from 7pm).

We are pleased to be welcoming back Rev Andrew Evans as our guest speaker. He will be speaking about being honest with God, particularly about our hopes for His church.

Andrew is the vicar of 3 local churches, in Holt, Broughton Gifford and Great Chalfield. Andrew was a solicitor in private practice for 20 years before being called to ministry in the Church of England. He is passionate to see God’s Kingdom come here in Wiltshire, to see churches healthy and growing, and to see the gospel proclaimed alongside signs of the Kingdom. His talks are always led by the Spirit and speak to us in the moment, leading into a powerful time of prayer ministry.

Worship will be led by Tim and Judith Clarke. They regularly lead the worship on the Father’s Heart courses and it is a real pleasure to welcome them to Box Filling Station next week.

We'll meet in the Methodist Church on the A4 as usual (please park in the Recreation Ground car park at the bottom of Valens Terrace or on the Devizes Road), doors open at 7.00 PM for coffee and cakes, starting at about 7.30 and finishing at about 9.30.

“Passing on the Torch” - Box TFS meets next Tuesday, 12th march with Trevor Ranger as our guest speaker. Doors open at 7PM for coffee and cakes, the meeting will start at 7.30.

We are looking forward to welcoming Trevor Ranger back to The Filling Station in Box next Tuesday. Trevor will be speaking on the exciting theme of “Passing on the Torch”, drawing from Paul’s second letter giving encouragement and instruction to Timothy, pastor at the Church in Ephesus.

Trevor works for the Synergy Christian Trust as a Children's and Youth Worker. His role is to support schools and churches (mainly in the West of England) in any way he can, but with a particular view to exploring and sharing the Christian message. He is also an accomplished musician and composer of Christian worship songs - here is his YouTube channel; https://www.youtube.com/ .
Trevor has been married to Ruth for more than 30 years and they have two grown-up children. Trevor is great fun as well as a great teacher so do come along!
