Cookstown Go Team - Day 4

We had a lovely day worshipping God together, followed by a fellowship lunch and a time of reflection and prayer.

We’re so thankful for these young people who have come to serve alongside us this week. It has been a real encouragement to have them with us, and we’re grateful for all they have done!

Please continue to pray for them and for the work being done here in Cookstown. 🙏

Cookstown Go Team – Day 3

Another full and joyful day with our Go Team!
The day began with breakfast together at the church before splitting into two teams. One team headed to Dungannon to hand out leaflets, while Paul joined them to do some street preaching and proclaim the Gospel.
The other team set up a table in Cookstown town centre, offering tea, coffee and Gospels of Mark.

After lunch, the team enjoyed some free time before coming together again for pizzas, a fire pit, family worship and kubb!

We’re so thankful for all that God has done throughout the day, especially for the opportunities to give Gospels to so many people. Please pray that the seeds sown would bear fruit and that God would, in His mercy, save souls!

Cookstown Go Team – Day 2

Today the team continued their door-to-door outreach, inviting people to this evening's public meeting. Others spent time in the town centre handing out invitations and we're thankful for a number of good conversations and opportunities to share the gospel.

This evening we held our public meeting on Depression, and we were delighted that the room was filled to capacity. We give thanks to God for everyone who came to hear.

Please give thanks for:
• The 6,000 leaflets that have now been distributed around Cookstown.
• The conversations that have taken place and the opportunities to speak of Christ.
• The excellent attendance at this evening's public meeting. Pray that God would use His Word to bring those who do not yet know Him to saving faith.
• Thank God for Robert's willingness to speak openly and honestly on such a sensitive subject.

Cookstown Go Team – Day 1

Today we enjoyed a busy and encouraging first day. We held our Community Cafe, the team went door to door distributing invitations for tomorrow evening's meeting on Depression, and others helped with painting around the church.

We would value your prayers throughout the week:
• Pray that the Lord would bless the young people serving with the team.
• Pray for God's protection as they continue door-to-door outreach tomorrow.
• Pray that many would come along to tomorrow evening's meeting.
• Above all, pray that the Lord would speak through Robert, and that many souls would be saved to the glory of God.

Just wanted to say thanks to all those who watched the North West 200 from the church grounds back in May. As a result of your generous donations the church was able to send £2711.00 to the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance. Thanks!!
Do remember that God has given the greatest gift - "for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
