Our new outdoor altar has arrived ready for Ascension Day.
On Thursday, 40 days after Easter, at 7pm in the community orchard, Yr Eagles, we’ll be blessing the new altar and planting 4 fruit trees as we commemorate the day that Christ Ascended back to Heaven.
Everyone is welcome to join as for the service and refreshments after.

If it’s raining we’ll retreat into the church!

A reflection on the Gospel for this the 3rd Sunday of Easter, the walk on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24. 13-35)

This is the last of the resurrection appearences in our Easter celebration, next week we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday and then our readings begin to look forward towards Ascension and Pentecost.

***Public Meeting in St Martin's Church***

Mae dyfodol Eglwys Sant Martin yn ansicr. Gwyddom y bydd angen gwaith ar y tô mewn y 5 mlynedd nesaf i cadwr adeilad a’i defnyddwir yn ddiocgel. Bydd y gwaith hwn yn costio mwy na £200,000. Mae'r lefel hon o waith yn mwy na mae’r gynulleidfa bresennol yn gally wneud.
Mae’r cyfarfod hwn i glywed gan bawb yng nghymuned Eglwysbach i weld pa ddyfodol all fod yn bosibl i’r Eglwys a beth hoffech chi ei weld yn digwydd yn eich Eglwys.

The future of St Martin’s Church is uncertain. We know that within the next 5 years it will need major roofing works to be safe and watertight. These works will cost in excess of £200,000. This level of work is beyond the present congregation.
This meeting is to hear from everybody in the community of Eglwysbach to see what future might be possible for the Church and what you would like to see happen in your Church.

It was fantastic to see so many of you in St Martin’s this afternoon as we celebrate the empty tomb and the risen Christ to start our Easter Celebrations.

The Church is looking so beautiful with a huge thanks to all those who worked so hard decorating and flower arranging.

The Church is open during thebday and well worth visiting to see the displays, and don’t forget the Easter Market in St Grwst’s on Monday, 11am-4pm
