We have two events coming up at Consett Methodist Church this November. The first is our Christmas Cracker Coffee Morning on 21st November 10am until 12:30pm

The second is our Light up a Life Remembering Service, where we invite you to light a candle in remembrance of a loved one who is no longer with us. The candles will be lit each Sunday during Advent. Your loved ones names can be placed on our tree of remembrance. All are welcome to join us 🕯🙏🏻

On Sunday 11th October at 3pm at Consett Methodist Church, we are holding our Annual Baby Loss Service. It's a beautiful, sensitive service where you can remember your baby, grandchild, niece, nephew or sibling lost through miscarriage, stillbirth or in infancy. You can light a candle in memory and add their name to a heart and put it on the prayer tree, or just sit quietly with your thoughts. Tissues are provided and if you want to talk over a cup of tea or coffee you are welcome to. There is support if you need it too. 🕯👼🩷🩵 Sands - baby loss charity

Praying for the people of Colombia after the devastating earthquake. We think of those who are missing, those still looking for loved ones who are missing, for those who are injured, those grieving for loved ones lost. Give strength to the emergency services as they search for survivors. We ask these prayers, in and through the name of Jesus. Amen.
