Today we read and learned about the story of the Lord’s assignment to Ezekiel. We read from Ezekiel 2: 1-8..

Ezekiel is a prophet mentioned in the Old testament , His name means “strengthened by God,” He was among the second group of captives taken to Babylon along with King Jehoiachin about 597 BC. While in Babylon Ezekiel became a prophet of God;

Ezekiel was called by God to the warn the Israelites of God’s judgement. His assignment was to make them aware of their rebellion and to help them redirect them back to God. But the problem is from the very beginning God told Ezekiel that the people would not listen. Even though this was God’s warning still Ezekiel obeyed and fulfilled His given assignment.

3 main things we can learn from Ezekiel’s call

1.Obey first before complaining
“Do everything without complaining and arguing,”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

- sometimes the Lord will ask us to do things that for us doesn’t make perfect sense. But remember the Lord has seen the complete and full picture while what we can only see is the now. So trust that what the Lord is asking us to do is just part of the bigger picture

2. task is to speak the word and not to change people.

“And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

- it is the Lord that will transform people. Our task is ti share the Gospel.

3. You are not doing it alone. We have our senior partner, who is the Holy Spirit.

“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

- He will equip us and empower us. To have the boldness to speak and to endure despite of the rejections.

Glory to God for the victory and success of our caregroup today! Indeed more souls to be won for Jesus

Fervent Prayer Morning🙏🙏🙏

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭5‬, ‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God is love and He is not easily angered, does not dishonor anyone, and does not keep a record of wrongs once a person repents.

Love is looking out for the other person and putting that person first. Instead of cutting others down, love will build others up. However, the only way for a person to really live this way, is to know true love–Jesus.

The core of the chuch of christ is to belief in the salvation provided by Jesus. That simple. We point others to Jesus no matter what denomination or diversity we are in.

The focus of every believer and every church must be on following and obeying God and building His kingdom. For each person this may be a slightly different method. This is where diversity comes in, the many body parts.

The unity is in our focus and the mission. The diversity is in the different methods.

Temptations will be present in the most enticing and desirable forms. All the more we should keep our eyes on Jesus so not to fall into them. These temptations are not new, they are not unconquerable. Remind yourselves that we already have the victory in Christ Jesus.

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

Ascend in Your Assignment 📈


📖 Acts 20:24 (NLT)
“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”

The Ascension Dimension is not merely about elevation in position, but rising higher in our purpose.

"How is your assignment? "

Paul teaches us that ascended believers live with mission, urgency, and eternal focus.

The Church Exists Not Merely to Gather — But to Go

One of the greatest dangers in modern Christianity is becoming comfortable with gathering without going.

But ascended believers understand:
we gather for empowerment, so we can go in assignment.

📖 Matthew 28:19
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations…”

The Church is not called to hide from darkness, we are called to invade darkness with light.

We are called to:
• reach souls,
• disciple people,
• heal the broken,
• preach the Gospel,
• and reveal Jesus to the world.

We are on a Kingdom Mission!

How valuable is God's mission to you?

Church family, make your life count.

Let your life be worth something —
not merely in the eyes of people,
but in the eyes of God.

The greatest reward will be hearing:
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

So don’t live beneath your calling.
Don’t put limits on what God can do through your life.

Ascend into your assignment.
Ascend into obedience.
Ascend into surrender.
Ascend into Kingdom purpose.

“Carry the mission!”
