Loughlin (née Barrett) – 23rd August 2026, Barbara, peacefully at home ‘Drumnagee Lodge’, 17 Drumnagee Road, Lisnagunogue, Bushmills. Dearly loved wife of Derek and, loving and devoted mother of Laura, Naomi and Charlie. Beloved daughter of the late Albert and Marlene and dear sister of Paul, Rosemary, Jennifer and Jonathan. Dear daughter-in-law of Margaret and the late Derek and a much loved sister-in-law and aunt. Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home on Monday and Tuesday from 12.00pm – 8.00pm. Service of Thanksgiving in Portrush Methodist Church on Wednesday 26th August 2006 at 11.00am followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. The Lighthouse summer outing ☀️⛱️

What a great afternoon we had on the beach playing games, doing crafts and taking part in an active story telling of Jonah and the Whale 🐳. There were lots of smiles and laughs throughout the afternoon and the rain stayed away!

Thanks to Valerie and Liam and their camper van Charlie for providing a really tasty BBQ. We even had a birthday cake to celebrate Ava's upcoming special day 🎂.

We look forward to seeing everyone, of ALL ages, at our next session on 26th September back in Coleraine when Play It by Ear will be joining us, which we are very much looking forward to!

Just a reminder that The Lighthouse summer outing is THIS SUNDAY!!! Don't forget to bring any buckets and spades, towels, chairs or picnic blankets with you. Here's hoping Sunday's forecast holds up.

Next week, The Lighthouse goes on tour and we will be meeting, weather permitting, on Portstewart strand in the fenced off area to the right of the entrance. Our theme will be Jonah and the whale.

Please note the change of day and date to Sunday 2nd due to another event taking place on the beach on Saturday.

Keep an eye on our page and emails next Friday for changes to venue should the weather be wet!

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Rev Dr Lee Glenny who served as a retired minister on our circuit for many years. Lee was a faithful servant who spent much time getting to know all the members of each of the churches on the circuit through his weekly services and visits. He also served as a prison chaplain. Lee fought his illness in recent years with bravery and always thinking of others around him. We send our deepest condolences to his wife, Mave and family at this difficult time.

Glenny – 17th July 2026, peacefully at home 6 Gransden Park, Coleraine, Rev. Dr. James Brownlee (Lee) Glenny. Dearly loved husband of Mave, loving father of Grace, Andrew and Karen, father-in-law of Lee and Louis, grandfather of Lincoln, Caspen, Eoin, Meabh and Shea and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home on Wednesday 22nd and Friday 24th, 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Service of Thanksgiving in Coleraine Methodist Church on Monday, 27th July at 11am followed by cremation at Antrim & Newtownabbey Crematorium at 3pm. Family flowers only, please.
