⛪️ COVENANT SUNDAY ⛪️

By now all parishioners should have received information about our covenant services this Sunday - 10am Christ Church & 11:30am St. Paul's. If you haven't received one please consider the pictured one below as your personal invitation from the Rector. We look forward to seeing everyone in church.

Kids Club (Sunday School) returns tomorrow. We are asking parents to bring their children to the Parish halls 15 minutes before the service starts (Christ Church - 9:45am / St. Paul's 11:15am) for registration. Members of the parish safeguarding panel will be there to assist in this process. The children will remain in the hall, having lots of fun, and parents should go over to the church building. Children will be brought over during the service to take part in our covenant prayer and Holy Communion.

This will be a significant Sunday in the life of our Parish and one not to be missed. There will be no livestream tomorrow from Christ Church. A recording of the service will be made available to anyone genuinely unable to make it to church. Message the Rector or our page to arrange this.

We’re thrilled to see the return of our DRY Invites service. We’re headed to Raphoe Catheral on Sunday 20th September, beginning at 7pm, for a time of praise, hearing from young people, prayer and sharing refreshments together!

This is open to everyone across our diocese and we’d love you to spread the word about it in your churches.

Bible study meets tomorrow night in St. Paul’s at 8pm. We will be finishing up the book of Ruth looking at chapter 4.

As always there will be a time of prayer beforehand at 7:30pm.

🔥 PARISH BBQ 🔥

A lovely afternoon was had in the Rectory garden as parishioners from our two congregations joined together for fantastic food and fellowship. A huge thank you goes to all who provided food, helped co-ordinate serving and for those BBQ professionals who cooked everything to perfection!

⭐️ Tomorrow in Christ Church and St. Paul’s ⭐️

We’re really excited for a great day in the Parish tomorrow! First up, our services will contain a special time of prayer for our children and teachers as they head back to school for a new academic year. We are delighted that Mark Moorhead from Scripture Union NI will be coming to share with us in our services as well.

After our services you are invited to the Rectory for a parish BBQ beginning around 1pm. Come rain or shine we will have a great day and a great lunch. You’re very welcome to join us!
