We met some lovely new people last week at the event with Lee Roberts, and more interested explorers at healing on Saturday.... is it about time you witnessed some real evidence of life after life?

Photo shows medium Laura Wood (left) with tonight's medium Lee Roberts and our President Michelle, who chaired tonight. Laura acted as Lee's "battery" this time, helping to keep his energy going. And was he on fire!? Loved ones in spirit came through one after the other... sometimes Lee was talking to one spirit person at one side and joking with another as he turned round... He just gets names one after the other: names of mums, uncles, sisters, children, in spirit and here in this life. He is told, and tells us, about unique memories, which road you lived in, where you've just been on holiday, what you did when young, how someone passed, how they left their jewellery to the family and so much more. Lee is a phenomenon. Like one of those science-fiction "portals" to another dimension - but he is so very real, so very human, funny, full of empathy and full of love and compassion for all of us. You cannot leave his presence without knowing that life is wonderful, that there is nothing to fear from earthly death and that each and every one of us is never, ever, alone. Why he isn't world president or God's ambassador to the United Nations I don't know🙏😂

Thanks to tonight's medium, Sue Creamer, (centre) who gave several of us (me included) some great details proving who was there in spirit and some great advice showing how our loved ones in spirit are still concerned for our lives here on Earth. She told us how one man who had frightening dreams responded to meditations she helped him with learned to recognise his mother in spirit, who had passed only recently and was learning how to communicate. Some great insights into just how close, real and loving the spirit world is! Janice (herself an excellent medium, left) chaired and Marian powerfully led our healing session. We hope that everyone there tonight got something from the evening...

What a joy it is to have all these different mediums, each of whom can prove life after life! If you want "proof beyond reasonable doubt" you only have to come along on a Thursday evening. Will you be there if your loved ones who have passed would love to contact you?

Mediums Jaxon Knight and Amy Dale (centre right) took a risk tonight to show some extraordinary evidence and the intelligence of spirit! People brought a photo of a loved one who has passed, which were placed face-down on the table. Jaxon and Amy then gave a reading from the photo with no idea who had brought the photo. Some astonishing details resulted - my mum for example, not only heard about how her mother wore her hair, but also about the very unusual life she had led and how it challenged society's expectations at the time. We were also given the name of her only, beloved, young great grandaughter. Other astonishing details for one woman included the importance of the young man as "a joker"..she showed me her arm tattoo in remembrance of her son afterwards... guess what it said... One young man was told about his father's life and love for him, all true, then was told "he's showing me a gold chain." When we knew who had brought the photo, he told us he had been up in the loft last night and brought down a gold chain. Honestly, it sends shivers. I do have to report that Jaxon had a different running gag: see the "glasses"? Quite bizarre, but you couldn't help laughing. Sue, right, chaired and helpfully prompted what had been said each time, Sharon led our healing, without any comedy accessories... A fascinating evening, well done everyone!

Medium Bill Rich gave us a really thoughtful talk tonight - he agreed with Mary's (right) reading that we are all mediums, not least healers and everyone who gives of themselves to others. He hinted about his own difficult early life - but he was never abandoned by spirit. Bill said if you think of your own love for your closest person, then spirit's love for you is a hundred times greater! Bill gave messages to people from their loved ones in spirit.... often with astonishing detail, as he said himself to one lady: "only you and your mother know that." The detail was amazing - to one lady he said: "your mother is telling me about a broken ring..... it was melted down!".... "yes, I had it melted down to make two new ones!" Bill's spirit communicators always had an important message of support: "please stop grieving, leave that pain now..." "She is here to convince you, finally, that spirit is real and that she will always be around you." "He is so pround of you, but he says set a date to retire, now.... don't do what he did." And many, many more. When Bill has a spirit person for you, he is laser-focussed, you are left with no doubt, no ambiguity about what your loved one wants for you, still.
Sharon (left) led our absent healing, and we were all asked to keep asking spirit for healing of mind, body or soul for those we know who need it. The book Mary read from is an excellent discussion of how we can learn to understand and fulfill our nature as spirits in human bodies: Spiritual Mediumship to grow the soul, by Linda Muir. Linda is an SNU minister, tutor at Arthur Findlay Spiritualist College, Stansted. The book is easily readable and aimed at everyone, from beginners to lifelong spiritualists. Tonight was a beautiful evening, medium Nathan Horne has a clear, detailed connection to spirit, and there was lots of emotion.... all good, including the tears! But if you're a seasoned spiritualist, you know that almost no mediums get 100% of the detail, the personalities, the encouragement right - it just doesn't happen. Tonight it did. Yes, Nathan is that accurate! When the sitter there tonight didn't quite recognise the information, Nathan went back to the spirit loved one and got it clear - always. Astonishing, even to regulars like myself who can be, alas, a bit judgemental. For example towards the end of the evening Nathan gave a message from a father in spirit to an adult daughter, with so much love for both her and his wife... not realising the wife was sitting there! Not only did she burst into tears, but Nathan lost it too. He explained how the emotion hits him, like his own earthly love. Earlier Nathan gave a message to an older gentleman from his uncle who had served in the wartime navy, and Nathan almost became that uncle - upright, on parade, hands behind his back, in a commanding officer's voice! Our gentleman's wife then came thru, with such undying love and admiration - and we know that is accurate and important as it has happened similarly before. Nathan's address spoke to us of grief, and how that is right and inevitable, but how it should move on to recognise that our loved one had to go at that time, and that they are now free of all physical and emotional pain in the spirit world. They don't want grief to affect our lives too much, and they are always there observing, understanding and supporting.
Michelle, left, our President read a profound poem about love and loss and memory; Sue, right, led our absent healing intercession and Sharon chaired. Zyra and Maverick are, as you may have guessed, the brilliant, lively children of Nathan. The strong reactions from everyone who got a message make the evening worthwhile, so congratulations to everyone who came to the service tonight, thank you!
