On This Rock I Will Build My Church ✝️

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the powerful words of Jesus to Peter:

“You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
— Matthew 16:18

Peter was given the keys of the Kingdom and entrusted with a unique role in the foundation of Christ’s Church. Through the centuries, despite every challenge, persecution and attack, Christ’s promise remains:

The gates of hell shall not prevail.

As Knights of St Columba, may we remain faithful to Christ and His Church, standing firm in Faith, Family and Fraternity, and continuing to serve God by serving others.

🙏 St Peter, pray for us.
✝️ Long live Christ the King!
⚔️ The Church will stand.

Good morning everyone!

We have now drawn the Rabbit name from the Easter Funday. Well done to Charles for guessing correctly. Your Rabbit Easter egg will be winging its way to you.

Thank you to all who took part!
