It sounds a very interesting topic given Rupert's background. It is on Wednesday 8th April, 6.30 for 7pm. There will be refreshments before and after the talk. Booking is required.

This is the first time we have held a Carols by Candlelight in the afternoon so please come along and help us celebrate Christmas.

We are having a traditional Carols by Candlelight at St Andrew's church on 21st December at 4pm. It will be followed by traditional refreshments of mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies. Please come and join us. You will be very welcome.

St Andrew’s Church is looking for a part-time Community Engagement Officer to support our Stories and Spires heritage project. This flexible role involves just 1 day a week (up to 30 days total) from September 2025 to January 2026.
🕍 Help organise guided tours, community events, and archive activities
📣 Promote local heritage through social media and local outreach
💼 £200/day | Based in Marks Tey | Friendly, community-focused role

We are having a Traditional Carol service at St Andrew's church next Sunday, 22nd December, at 11am.
There will be traditional carols sung and Lessons ready, followed by refreshments in the church hall.

Our Worship Band is having a Christmas concert in the church on Sunday December 8th at 3pm. It is on behalf of the Bridgeway Trust who we have supported for a few years. There will be an opportunity to donate to them and also to bring any unwanted adult coats and clothes for them. It will be a lovely time to listen to live music playing some special Christmas music. There will be refreshments after.
