TOMORROW, Sunday 6th September at 10:00 am, St Peter's Church is Family Service. Adults, if you would like to prepare, we will be looking at Luke Chapter 5, verses 17-26, as there is a discussion during the craft activities. Come along ready to enjoy and learn!

On behalf of all at St Peter’s a massive thank you to Bev Nichols and Paycockes WI for running the flower festival this year for the first time and what a magnificent effort it was! We are truly grateful!
Over 1600 visitors came to admire the fabulous floral displays and learn about ‘Women who made us bloom’; to listen to wonderful music throughout the weekend; to enjoy delicious cakes, cream teas and lunches; buy St Peter’s greeting cards and shop at the various stalls including the famous preserves and produce stall!
This very successful event raised much needed funds for your church which means so much to us all in Coggeshall.

Our next event is on 3rd October 10-4 when St Peter’s will be showcasing all that goes on there!
Come and find out how the beautiful organ works, what the clergy wear, meet representatives from the many groups who meet in the church every week, sign up to ring the bells, craft for the young and an opportunity for them to dress up as choirboys/girls and go into the pulpit! History tours etc and of course the essential teas/coffees, biscuits and cake!

This charming Dolls House was raffled yesterday at The Flower Festival by Enchanted.222 who can be found at 7, Market Hill, Coggeshall CO6 1TS. A total of £120.00 raised of which we are hugely grateful!

Still another day to visit the wonderful annual flower festival in St Peter’s church. We’ve had hundreds of visitors enjoying the beautiful floral displays, delicious light lunches, homemade cakesand cream teas!

Gentle reminder Benefice Service starts at 10:30 am

🌸 BENEFICE SERVICE THIS SUNDAY – 10:30AM 🌸

At St Peter ad Vincula, Coggeshall right in the middle of our wonderful Flower Festival weekend!

So expect Holy Communion, flowers, familiar faces from across the benefice and, quite possibly, a church looking even more glamorous than usual 🌺🌼🌷

A very important bit: there are NO services at Cressing or Stisted this Sunday – our only service across the benefice is at St Peter ad Vincula at 10:30am.

Do come and join us as we worship together, enjoy the Flower Festival, and celebrate being one benefice in one very flowery church.

What an amazing day today at St Peter’s Church at the annual flower festival despite the downpours!! Hundreds of visitors enjoyed the beautiful floral displays; ate cake, lunches and cream teas! Listened to a variety of wonderful live music and shopped at the produce and other stalls!
And it’s all on again tomorrow from about 11.45 am and again on Monday from 10am!
