Well a yesterday was a busy one in Derwent NYC… a prayer meeting in Binsey Mission Community, followed by a Y6 transition lesson with Lesley from Niscu West Cumbria at St Herbert's Church of England Primary and Nursery School.. the children were so well behaved!

Then it was off to leading the session with Joelle from King's Church Cockermouth at the Christian Union after school club at Cockermouth School, before finishing the day with visiting Crosthwaite Church, Keswick’s leadership meeting to chat about all the great things they are doing, and hopes and dreams for the future! Thanks for having me!

Today at Keswick CU, the young people had a go at writing their own Psalm, each person adding a line… thanks Lesley at Niscu West Cumbria for sharing this great idea!

I’ve just heard about this great event looking after God’s creation and our beautiful planet…
Bird box making this coming Saturday. 🐦‍⬛🪺

Sustainable Keswick are joining forces with Keswick Repair Café to run a bird box making event during Great Big Green Week (6th – 14th June). Join them at the Riverside Bar between 10am and 1pm on Saturday 6th June. Pop along to make your very own bird box which you can take away and put up in your garden.

Great event to take your kids and youth to!

So happy to spend this morning with the lovely people of Setmurthy and beyond, enjoying their plant sale and cakes, sitting with a cuppa and watching young people have fun in the grounds… what a gorgeous example of intergenerational community at it’s best! Thank you St Barnabas’ Church and the good folk of Setmurthy!
