We are having our watchnight service early again this year at 6:30pm to make it as accessible as possible for folk to attend.

We’ll be serving tea, coffee and hot chocolate after the service with some goodies too.

Our friends at Calder Church will also be joining us and a warm welcome is extended to everyone.

A reminder to all that the service is held in the Church Hall on Manse Avenue.

This Sunday (June 9th) Old Monkland Church will be joining with our friends from Calder Church at 11:30am to celebrate in a special service of Holy Sacrament. This will take place in Calder Church.

Everyone is welcome to attend so please come and join us.

This Christmas Eve we will be holding 2 services.

Our normal morning service will be at 10am and we’re holding an early evening service at 6.30 and our friends from Calder Church will be joining us. However. EVERYONE is invited.

After the short evening service we’ll be offering hot drinks and snacks so please come along and celebrate worship with us and enjoy a time of fellowship.

As it’s Remembrance Day this Sunday (12th November), you are all warmly invited to join in our service of remembrance and commemoration for those who served before us.

Our service will start at 10am as usual and we’ll observe the silence at 11am.

Tea, coffee and home baking will be provided after the service so we can enjoy fellowship together.

Please come and join us if you can.

Our hall has proved very popular in the last year or so.

We rely heavily on a small number of elders to open and close the hall on hire days, however, for the foreseeable future, we are unable to support any more lets as we can’t guarantee the support of volunteers.

We’ve been really busy this year with bookings for various activities in the Hall - so much so that we are now fully booked for the rest of this year.

This coming Sunday (3rd September) will be a service of celebration, where we will celebrate and take part in a service of Holy Communion.

The service will take place at New St Andrews church, Coatbridge at 11am and will be a joint service with all 3 closely linked churches in Coatbridge, Ie NSA, Old Monkland and Calder.

The service will be conducted by the Rev Fiona Nicolson as our Locum Colin Ogilvie enjoys a well earned rest.

You are all warmly invited to attend this very special service and please note this service replaces our own service at Old Monkland for that Sunday only.
We look forward to seeing you all there.

“You are all invited”

We will be celebrating Pentecost, the descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Jesus after his Ascension. The service is held on the seventh Sunday after Easter - 28th May 2023 and will be with our friends in a collective service at New St Andrews Church at 11am. Our dear friends from New St Andrews Church and Calder Church will be joining with us and you are all warmly invited.

Please join us in this Christian festival if you can.

Please note that this service replaces our own service at Old Monkland, for this week only.

The service will be jointly conducted by the Rev Fiona Nicolson and Locum Colin Ogilvie

Old Monkland Church are delighted to be holding a joint communion service with Calder Church this coming Sunday in Old Monkland Church Hall (Manse Avenue).

The service starts at 11am and all will be made most welcome.
