🌟 Maktab Parents Evening & Awards Ceremony 🌟

Alhamdulillah, we had a wonderful and very successful Parents Evening at the masjid! 🤲🏼

It was a pleasure to see our students receive their exam results, prizes and awards in recognition of all their hard work and effort throughout the year. 🏆📚

We would like to sincerely thank all the teachers for their dedication, patience and commitment in teaching and supporting our children. 📖❤️

A huge thank you to all the parents for their continued support and for encouraging their children to attend Maktab and remain connected to the masjid.

And most importantly, well done to all our students! 👏🏼 Your hard work, effort and commitment are truly appreciated. Keep striving and continue to make your parents and teachers proud, inshaAllah. 🌟

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the evening enjoyable, including those who prepared and handed out the snacks and refreshments. 🍪🥤

This achievement is a result of everyone playing their part — teachers, parents and students working together. 🤝🏼

Our aim is to continue building on this and increase the number of children attending the masjid, creating a strong connection between our young people and their masjid from an early age. 🕌❤️

May Allah ﷻ accept the efforts of everyone involved, bless our children with beneficial knowledge and make them a means of goodness for their families and the wider community. Ameen. 🤲🏼

We are delighted to announce that Mufti Menk will be visiting Lanarkshire Central Mosque on Monday 24th August 2026, in shā’ Allāh.

🕌 The programme will begin immediately after Maghrib Salah.

Everyone is warmly welcome to join us for what promises to be a very special and memorable evening. 🤍

⚠️ Please note: We are expecting the mosque to be very busy. We kindly ask everyone to:
• Follow the guidance of our volunteers and cooperate with them at all times.
• Approach our volunteers if you require any assistance.
• Where possible, car share when travelling to the event.
• Please follow all parking rules and only park in designated areas.
• Do not block entrances, roads or park in non-parking areas, as this may cause disruption to residents and other road users.

Your cooperation will help us ensure the evening runs smoothly and safely for everyone.

If you ever need someone to talk to, have something on your mind, or need help with anything, the Imam’s messages are always open.

This is a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space where you can ask questions, seek advice, share your worries, or simply have a chat. You don’t have to be going through a major problem—if you just want someone to listen, that’s absolutely okay too.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Everyone is welcome, and the Imam will do his best to listen, support, and help in any way he can. 🤍

Indeed, to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) we belong and to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) we shall return.

Tariq Ali son of Late Haji Haider Ali from Jagrawan (Chak no.482) and Hamida Begum has returned to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).

He was the Husband of Farkhanda Ali (babli) and Father of Hamzah Ali. Brother of Shanaz Karim, Tahir Ali, Zahid Ali & Shabana Ali and Brother-in-law of Abdul Karim and Sumera Ali. Mamu of Anisah, Harun, Uzair, Daanish and Daanyaal. Taya of Fiza, Aleem, Faheem, Maya and Zaydan. Grandfather of Ayla.
'Oh Allah forgive and have mercy upon him, excuse him, pardon him and make honorable his reception. Expand his entry and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Exchange his home for a better home and his family for a better family. Admit him into the Gardens of Paradise, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.

Janaza today Tuesday 14th July after Zuhr namaz 1.45pm.

We’re excited to share our new banner for the Airdrie Islamic Centre Open Day! 🎉

Everyone is warmly invited to join us on Saturday 27th June, 11am–4pm, at 41 Bell Street, Airdrie, ML6 0BS.

There will be:

✅ Mini zoo
✅ Face painting
✅ Henna
✅ Islamic dress try-on
✅ Community stalls and much more!

This is a free event for men, women and children, so please bring your family and friends and help us make it a great day for the whole community.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with setting up and packing away on the day. If you can spare some time, please let us know.

Last day of class will be Thursday 9th July
Then there will be summer holidays
