On Saturday 12th September 2026, we’re inviting you to be part of our team as we raise money for St Bart’s, Lower Cam, St John’s, Slimbridge and St Bartholomew’s, Coaley.

Whether you choose to walk, cycle or drive, you can follow a circular route between our three beautiful churches, starting from St Bart’s, Lower Cam at 9:30am.

All three churches will be open throughout the day giving you a wonderful opportunity to explore, meet new people and support your local churches.

Can’t join us on the day? You can still support our team by donating via our JustGiving page. Every donation, big or small, helps us care for these much-loved churches for future generations.

Most churches are run almost entirely by volunteers.

From caring for the churchyard and historic building to welcoming visitors, arranging flowers, serving refreshments and organising community events, so much happens because people generously give their time.

Every church relies on volunteers to keep its doors open, its buildings cared for and its community thriving.

Could you spare an hour now and then? You don’t need any special skills, just a willingness to help. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a real difference.

What a joyful and heartwarming day as we gathered to celebrate Rev’d Debbie’s first Eucharist (Holy Communion) service, followed by a wonderful Bring & Share lunch.

There is something truly special about seeing people come together in worship, fellowship and friendship, sharing not only food, but stories and laughter around the table.

Beautiful things happen when people come together. Today was a powerful reminder that community matters. It is in these moments of gathering, sharing and belonging that faith is strengthened, relationships are deepened and everyone leaves feeling a little more connected.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special, whether by leading, preparing, bringing food or simply being there. May we continue to build a welcoming community where all can find friendship, hope and God’s love.
