The roses are beginning to bloom at the Rectory and our parish is hugely looking forward to hosting Open Gardens Weekend on 20th-21st June together with St Peter and Paul's Church, Bolton-by-Bowland and St Ambrose Church, Grindleton.

There will be lots to see and do including:
🌻 20 gardens open to the public
🍰 refreshments available in churches/village halls
🪴 plant stalls

By request of the family, we would like to share details of the funeral arrangements for the late John Neville Pate, known as Neville.

The funeral will be held at St Mary the Virgin Church Gisburn on Wednesday 27th May at 11am, followed by refreshments at the Spread Eagle in Sawley. All are welcome.

Neville lived in Gisburn all his life and will be greatly missed by many. Our prayers are for his family at this sad time.

On the fifth Sunday of the month, the churches in our benefice gather for a united service of Holy Communion.

This month's service is extra special because we'll be celebrating Trinity Sunday, along with a baptism.
